Hello! I've been lurking around the forums for quite some time and decided to finally register.
I've been playing Soul Calibur since the 2nd installment and Talim's been my main since then. With SCV, I had to move on to Patroklos.

I've never been a very good player, mainly because I never bothered memorizing all the moves and combos and practicing very much. I don't play much online, since the connection speed here in Brazil sucks (hopefully that'll change when I move to the US).

Although I'm not that good at these games, I do enjoy them a lot and have my share of fun, even though I get quite the beating when playing against higher level AI.

So yeah, just thought I'd say hello~
 
Greetings, sir! It's disappointing to hear that you don't do much online due to your connetion, but when you do move or whatever it takes please do consider dropping by our online forum and adding yourself to the player list and/or matchfinder threads. It can seem daunting since there are so many people that already know so much about the game online, but there are always casual and beginner rooms and there's almost always plenty of people around willing to teach you thing a two.

Just keep your chin up, remain positive, and be ready to put in a bit of effort and you'll be amazed at how quickly you'll improve. Around here, we want you to get better. We want you to learn to beat us all to an inch of our characters lives and have plenty of lulz along the way :)
 
Thanks for welcoming me, Wandrian :) I'll be sure to check the online forum once I settle at my new home. I'll have to start fighting against beginners, though haha.

welcome to 8wayrun.com :) I'm new too and TBH the only reason why you should play a game is for the fun, some ppl take it too seriously haha XD
