Questions about arcade stick for SCIV

They are not very good, is what most people say. The pcb is just to unreliable. Also, if American parts aren't your thing, there are better options anyways.

If that is the case, what would you recommend? I want a stick that can be used on the PC/PS3/Wii without having to buy individual sticks for each of them. Also, after reading about Hori failure's due to static/shock, I am eying the lifetime warranty the X-Arcades come with. However, that means nothing if the X's are terrible in comparison to other sticks.

Maybe I should mention the games I want to use the stick with:
Street Fighter 4 (PS3)
Street Fighter 2 HD Turbo Remix (PS3)
Soul Calibur 4 (PS3)
Tekken 5 & 6 (PS3)
Ikaruga (GC/Wii)
Virtual Console (Wii)
MAME (PC)

I just want to be able to do & to the left or right easily. Button layouts, be it either American or Japanese, are not a problem, I'm just interested in the stick feel with my left hand and its ability to do the inputs I want when I think them. As for durability, it should either be extremely durable or have a really good warranty.
As for the options I'm looking at. I'm looking at the Tankstick from X-arcade, the Tournament Edition SF4 stick that is supposedly made from the arcade parts (does it connect via usb/bluetooth?). My computer does have a blue tooth adapter if it can connect to PC's via usb or bluetooth. Any others?

1 more thing in connection to the American/Other parts reference. As long as the parts are not from China, it should be fine. I have no problem with quality assurance from any other place.

hmm, it depends how serious you are and how much you are willing to pay. If you can get a hold of the TE SF4 stick, that will probably be the best stick you can get that isn't a custom.

The hrap3 is available online for 90 dollars still, and would have equivalent parts to the sf4 stick if you mod out the buttons, but that would void your warranty if you are worried about that sort of thing. They are generally very reliable though.

In the lower end, I would probably wait for the standard sf4 stick rather than getting an hfs3. Or maybe even one of the sf4 fighting pads. To my experience, QCFx2 motions are in general much easier to do on a pad than on a stick, so a good pad might actually be more useful for you (and cheaper).

btw, you'll need to get an adaptor (if they exist) to use a ps3 stick on a wii, but i'm not sure if they do exist. Secondly, most of these sticks use a sanwa joystick while great for fighters, isn't optimal for arcade shooters because of the larger deadzone and higher sensitivity. I'm going to assume that anything you buy retail won't use a seimitsu stick, so be warned when Ikaruga is a little harder to control than you remember. The game is still playable of course. That's about all i have to say right now, as I need to go. Someone else will probably be able to answer your other questions.
