Tech Trap: a move that catches people rolling on the ground.

Ukemi: The act of quickly rising after being knocked to the ground by tapping the G button. A Just Ukemi—rising immediately after a grounding attack—is performed by pressing the G button at the exact moment the character hits the ground.

Thanks ! It's really appreciated !

Thought I should clear up something here. A tech trap and a frame trap are not the same thing. A frame trap is a set-up where a move leaves you with enough advantage frames to beat out or "stuff" an opponent's counter attack during it's start-up frames.

A tech trap is a move that catches people rolling on the ground. ("teching") These are chance related attacks based on being able to read what your opponent will do but usually lead to a nice reward for a catch and allow you to keep pressure up on a grounded opponent.

Tech trap and ukemi are both related to the over-arching concept of okizeme, or "ground games".

Tech Trap: also known as Frame Trap is when you perform a move or tactic that leaves you with an advantage.

Ukemi: The act of quickly rising after being knocked to the ground by tapping the G button. A Just Ukemi—rising immediately after a grounding attack—is performed by pressing the G button at the exact moment the character hits the ground.
Tech trap: Is when an attack hits an opponent that techs/ukemis.
