Ever think that something isn't legit? Share it here and wait for the opinions of other members.

Anyway, let's begin.

Some guy from this website (that happens to be on my friendlist in PSN) sent me a code to get $50 for the PS wallet. He also sent me a link that said that if I share the link with a select amount of people, I gain something (PSN money for 10-30 people and Sniper: Ghost Warrior for 40).

If you want the site in question, it's http://psnpointscodes.com/

For some reason, I feel like there's something fishy about this site. Don't you think?

If it isn't a malware distribution center, I'd be shocked. I randomly got the same message(nearly identical save for being about M$ fun money) from someone I've never encountered...Yeah, pretty sure they're hijacking accounts.

Ive fallen for something like this on XBL. Got a message from a good friend saying "do such and such and get free xbl points". My dumbass did it, cause it was a message from a friend IRL so I didnt question it. Turns out someone hacked his account and sent this mass message to everyone. It hacked my account and have still not cleared everything up. It changed the email adress accosiated with my account. apparently xbl cant change it without the password......long drawn out story.

Turns out I was the only one out of 100 of his friends that didnt get the "warning message" he sent out. I was pissed.

Im not even gonna click on that site. But if it works out, share the wealth brutha.

Actually, I won't do crap about it until it's officially legit. If it isn't, I'll tell everyone I know about it.

Since PSN is so easy to make multiple accounts. Make a fake one then try it. If it works great, if not, your not out anything. Just a thought

7 years ago, I got my PSP from FreePSPs.com, they had a whole bunch of sites like FreeiPods.com and others. They were legit, but the amount of hoops you had to jump through to get a free PSP was more work than just going out and getting a minimum wage job and buying it outright.

I dunno about this new thing you're talking about. Might be the same, might be a hacker site.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

A pop-up for a "virus protection program" telling you that your computer is fucked, when in reality it's the pop-up that's the virus. Almost fell for it myself.

Yea i get all sorts of stupid, "send this to 30 friends and get $50 in your psn wallet and free modern warfare 3 mapacks.
I just sit there stunned that people i put on my friends list fall for that spam crap, i even got one in spanish. So whoever i get those from, i just delete them off my friends list.
