Anybody have any tips vs Maxi? I just get my guard gauge raped and I can't figure out how to punish him or even gain momentum outside of the occasional gloomy B+K.
 
I'm able to duck a lot of Maxi's moves up close. Probably not the best advice, but it works for me.
If you want to use a good ducking attack go for 44B in GS.

I started playing my buddy who is good with Maxi to see. Tira actually has better range than Maxi, it's not much, but it's there. Take advantage of that.
 
jump around with 9B+K and hit then with B+K B, try doing the grim reaper when in a tight spot (regain health). the B+K on jolly usually helps if he's spamming because if he gets GI'd you will get some health back.
