[09] Warrior
So, it's time to finally flaunt some of my creations. I can tell you the formulas if you want to recreate something from here.

First batch:

Skeletor (Masters of the Universe)
Skeletor.jpg

Red Sonja
Sonja.jpg

Menace (Queen's Blade)

No epic underboobs in SCV :(
Menace.jpg

Eilonwy (The Black Cauldron / Chronicles of Prydain)

BiFlyClops (Original Creation)

Now some dark elves / drow. All original chracters; SCs and NSCs of my D&D games.

Second batch:

Baethrae, Priestess of Lolth

Shurayne, NSC Fighter

Rakhsicz, a Drizzt clone, Ranger / Warblade

Mizzri, a Wizard (Diviner) / Incantatrix. But lots of necromancy spells.
Mizzri.jpg

Mirage, a bard, chohort of Rakhsicz
Mirage.jpg

Now my OC Nina with both my main styles, an evil pope, Beelzeboss and an undead pirate.

Third batch:

Nina, Leixia style
Nina-L.jpg

Maledict, the Antipope. In my CaS roster since SC3.
Maledict.jpg

Murray, captain of the skeleton crew. MUAHAHAHAHAHA ! Inspired by 'Monkey Island 3'
Murray.jpg

Beelzeboss, inpired by 'Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny'
Beelzeboss.jpg

Nina, Patroklos style
Nina-P.jpg

Last characters for now. Conan and some more original characters.

Fourth batch:

Justine, Ninja / Fighter / Chameleon, D&D character
Justine.jpg

Ramsus, Pharao Powaaah !
Ramsus.jpg

Gertrude, inspired by the Teutonic Knights in Sergei M. Eisenstein's 'Alexander Nevsky'

Gertrude can be translated as 'powerful spear'

Conan

Ayrin, another D&D character, this time Forgotten Realms; a Gish (Fighter / Wizard). Also around since SC3.

Thanks, though the Conan is a pretty simple design, doesn't look very different from others that I've seen online since SC4. I like my Red Sonja more with the 'ring mail'-look bikini and the Snake Horns on the thighs.

With Gertrude the biggest problem from the start was that there aren't really any armors that fit below the surcoat. And those that do fit have clipping problems. I used the Leather Shirt on top of the Minidress to armor her torso, with the same pattern as Sonja's bikini (smallest size) on the Minidress and arms and a scale pattern on the chest portion of the Leather Shirt.

I'm not really happy with the look of the zipper crosses (also one on the back). But I didn't find anything else for them. But the zipper on the Great Helm is okay for that cross look.

Murray was fun to make. I went for a tattered, piratey look for most of the equipment. Positioning the arrows was fine-tuning since I didn't want them to clip through any bone. The red eye is made with the Demonic Horns.

My favorite from these is probably Ayrin. The Skeletor garnered most (unanimously) positive comments online so far.

Your Menace and your dark elves are all excellent. My best bit of advice to you is to make liberal use of the pocket and ribbon stickers. They're great for fashioning additional layers of clothing or adding some much needed texture. Also don't forget to try maxing out sticker sizes for interesting effects. Good luck!

I love the darl elf section.

In general I would say you use too few colors, colors need to be from the same palette but its not necessary blue pants with the same tone of blue shirt. You can use a tone for the trousers then a different one with the shirt

Hmm, in the case of Justine (blue pants / blue shirt) I just recreated the original - which was some fantasy artwork that I found somewhere on the web, can't remember where.

But more generally spoken, yes, I know that I tend to use not too many different colours. Probably because I'm afraid that it becomes to garish, since I often use very intense colours.

Here I am again in the new year. Finally braced up to put up 20 more creations. Starting with maybe some funny stuff among the first five.

Fifth batch:

Captain Obvious to the rescue !!! Uses Kilik's styles. He has the same symbol on the cape. But not on the back of the suit (sticker limitations).
CptObvious.jpg

And ElectroCutie, OC, smexy female Superhero. Uses Elysium's styles.
ElectroCutie.jpg

Nun-Chuck, inspired by that silly picture that's floats around on the web. I think I first saw it on George Takei's facebook page.

A quick job. I'm not really happy with him. Maybe someone else can do it better.
Nun-Chuck.jpg

Call the Pun Police because here comes Burnadette.
Burnadette.jpg

Detlef, for trolling with Voldo style (which I rather rarely use). Name comes from an old Neue Deutsche Welle song.
Detlef.jpg

Now Seong Mi-Na, a buxom bavarian barbarian babe, some other girl and two hoofed guys.

Sixth batch:

Not really my own creation. I think I found it via Google image search, maybe on DeviantArt. What I probably changed was the position of the flower stickers on the skirt and the headband pattern. I also added the special equipment (the crescent moon on the skirt's knot, small earrings, and a flower brooch on the back of her head).

Seong Mi-na
SeongMi-na.jpg

Xiphistus the Satyr. Looks a bit dim-witted, but also ferocious.
Xiphistus.jpg

Credit where credit is due, the next one is clearly based on Gretchen, a CAS made by Chobek. But where he went for cute, I went for brute. :)

Witness the Mechthildis the Terrible !
Mechthildis.jpg

And another one with a huge ax. Carno the Goatfolk / Ibixian (a D&D 3.5 monstrous humanoid race).
Carno.jpg

My version of Colombina (Harlequin's mistress in the Commedia dell'Arte).
Colombina.jpg

Now three male Conan RPG characters and again two female dark elves (D&D characters)

Seventh batch:

Hrólfr, a Vanir barbarian, wolf-named and wolf-themed.
Hrlfr.jpg

Alystra, another dark elven bard, but this one's just an NSC.
Alystra.jpg

Jacob, Conan character (a Southern Islander).
Jacob.jpg

Zebey'riia, a dark elven weapon master. Also an NSC.
Zebeyriia.jpg

Leif, another Nordheimer Barbarian, but an Aesir. One of my Conan player characters.
Leif.jpg

And here are the last ones for now again. A bunny girl, a demon lord and some more D&D characters.

Eighth batch:

Honey Bunny. She also has a short rabbit tail (shortened racoon tail mostly hidden in her torso).
HoneyBunny.jpg

Pazuzu, a Demon Lord in the D&D cosmology.
Pazuzu.jpg

Esime, a D&D character, an Aasimar Crusader. Imo, those armor pieces are among the best to make a heavy but feminine-looking set of plate armor.
Esime.jpg

Errathos the Assassin. Our D&D heroes killed him years ago. But here he lives on.
Errathos.jpg

Leani, an Elven Scout. Finding the perfect position for the bow is not so easy. Always adjust, check, adjust, check, ...
Leani.jpg

So, for the proliferation of Seong Mi-na in SC5, here is the formula to recreate her. I couldn't bother with the editor here, so I made an image:

SeongMi-na-5.jpg

For the position of the 2 "by view" stickers on the Tight Shirt, put the camera straight above Mi-na, hold 'Square' and move the sticker around with the D-Pad (speaking as a PS3-User). One to the front and one to the back, wide enough so that they don't cover the sleeves. The other 2 "by axis" stickers are used to cover the rest of the torso in white.

Back with a small update this time. 3 new customs and revised versions of 2 customs I posted before.

9th batch:

Again something that was inspired by a CAS from the great Chobek: Taurus. I combined it with the wings and armor in the style of my Beelzeboss and the 'femaleness' of my Mechthildis, probably because of Diablo II hell cows.

Black Betty, the Fiendish MinoCow
BlackBetty_zps0adc0447.jpg

Now a Star Trek - TOS Custom

Lt. Alicia
LtAlicia_zpsfb37de89.jpg

Chiharu ... not much to say, just what happened when I decided to make a female Yoshi CaS.
Chiharu_zps33262d29.jpg

The first revised custom. I changed some colours and added an 'alternative' zipper to the Tear Leotard. It was made with the 'European 18' pattern, almost completly hidden by the 'Motif 3' sticker, positioned by axis straight on back and then enlarged to cover almost the whole thing.

ElectroCutie Mk. 2
ElectroCutieV2_zps4890fa0a.jpg

The second revised custom. I switched out all armor parts but the helm to Dark Warrior set and put the snake pattern on most of it. I also switched the Rubber Suit to Mummified and added some stickers on the head, so that he has some sort of face if his stuff gets smashed.

My only beef with it is that the Dark Warrior pauldron is so huge that it blocks his eye and clips into the mandibles in fighting stance. But other than that he looks meaner and leaner than the original version.

BiFlyClops Mk. 2
BiFlyClopsV2_zps1c9d7178.jpg

Another update. 4 new customs and a new version of an older custom.

Tenth batch:

A Togruta Jedi OC that I played in a Star Wars SAGA "Dawn of Defiance" campaign.

Kashka Miro
Kashka_zps1e2443a4.jpg

Another Conan RPG-inspired custom. Made it together with a friend already some months ago.

Ibunga
Ibunga_zps355526ea.jpg

Another Star Trek custom, this time from TNG, a Borg.

Eight of Six
Six-of-Eight_zpsf79fdcc5.jpg

Recently started playing AD&D again, the great Planescape Setting to be precise. So here is one of my PCs, a tiefling Fighter/Rogue.

Shaltari
Shaltari_zps06b8256d.jpg

Finally my OC Nina revisited. This time with a loincloth were I made a 'back flap' with two overlapping 'Strange Wards'.
