I hope Nightmare isn't shitty in SCV. :(

He actually looks like one of the most promising characters, along with Siegfried and Viola. And since you come from 2d fighters, you might like Viola and Natsu in SCV. As for characters for beginners, I am learning too, and I find Sophitia and Cassandra to be awesome characters. Siegfried is also nice, but maybe it's because I play online too much. I would also recommend Mitsurugi.
