What does "Offending Player -> Report this player -> Unpleasant creation" do?

Hello,
I have a question about playing SoulCalibur V (Xbox 360) online on Xbox Live: If enough people think a character creation of mine is offensive, and chooses to report me using the feature "Offending Player -> Report this player -> Unpleasant creation," what would happen to my account? I've seen players with default character creations, named "Custom," and sporting the default male or female underwear model, as if their custom characters have been banned during online play, but I don't know whether this is a temporary or permanent sort of ban, and I don't want the same thing to happen to me. I'm the biggest character creator fanatic I know, so any major repercussions would be crushing to me, and, because I'm so into it, some of my creative expressions could be reported as unpleasant, so I want to know exactly what this reporting system does. Could I please have any official info, or at least solid personal experience, on what the reporting feature leads to, and the nature of any repercussions?
Thank you!

That's one of the problems: 'Beautiful' to me could be 'offensive' to someone else, and not always honestly: they could report you for not liking how you fight, or losing to you.

I'll post this in the 'casual' forum.

Usually people just give your GT a bad rating if they don't like you. I don't see the point in reporting an offending custom if it's not, I'd like to think people aren't that stupid. Also, the offending custom report is mostly only for customs with an erect raccoon tail where their crotch is. But yeah, I have no idea how the reporting system actually works. I'd imagine a ban on a custom only goes through if there are more than a few reports.

yeah it's taking a while for me to find solid answers online. i also emailed a contact email i found for namco and for xbox live. there are way too many questions i have about this

hm has this happened to any of you?

I just logged on the global colosseum and every other person has his name in grey. And I can't fight anyone... I have some offensive characters, but I don't think anyone has reported me since everyone who's seen it has found em funny...

what can I do? :(

EDIT: Now I get to play in Ranked Match, but every char I fight is naked...

if you can still fight some people in global, it might be something like the others are away? and as for seeing other people with naked characters, isn't that their problem, not yours?

yeah i'm hoping i'm just being too freaked out and careful about this. my specific issue is that if anyone breaks off a top shirt/armor of most of my female characters then they're wearing a flesh-colored swimsuit with tiny 'bump' features. it may seem like no big deal to some people but if enough people knock off an armor piece and decides to report me, i don't wanna be punished in a huge, permanent way

no, in global Colosseum I cant read their comments nor talk to them. They appear in grey (if you click SELECT it says Grey= Block) and I havent blocked anyone. Besides when I get to fight in Ranked match, I can't even see their card, it appears also grey.

:(

The only reason I could have been reported is due to my massive cock Afro guy CaS lol

I was able to play the online spanish tournament this morning with no problem at all, classified for finals and played fair and respectfully, so I don't get it...

Anyways I think it's fixed by now...

I don't have any offending characters, but today I used a custom with voldo's style and pelvic thrust all over the place, and because people couldn't handle it, I guess they reported me?

I can't see any custom creations that anyone has made now. How can I fix this, if at all? Because this is some ****, I want to see other people's creations.

i'm glad it's fixed! that would be good if bannings are just temporary. that's one of my concerns
It's one of my concerns that they are only temporary. What would be good is if the bannings were temporary until you got too many of them for repeatedly violating the rules and then became permanent. Say, 3 strikes and you're out sounds like a good policy.

I just thought about something. I intend to use this on every jerk who uses CaS in ranked matches. There is no negative to me for doing so, and I would enjoy it :)

that's cool, from peoples' responses so far it sounds like all CaS bans are just temporary, for a few hours!

i wouldn't be so quick to want to have peoples' CaS permanently banned. i wouldn't do something like male productive organs, but there are other things that some could consider attractive that others could report you for, which puts itself in that area between creative art and censorship. i'm gonna be careful about CaS, as we all should, and it just helps to know that bannings are only temporary. creative freedom is a bit more important than "using this on every jerk who uses CaS in ranked matches" which is just malicious-spirited

I have a pink cat suit CaS with floppy penis extension. I've not witnessed any changes to my CaS but i've only used it a handful of times. My assumtion would be the opponent will see the standard CaS model if its been reported but the player with the offending CaS will know no different as it will still appear from their side of things.

If there's one thing they should block its those stupid ring drum accessories. Its one thing having a penis extension but these things effectively hide some movements so you don't see the move till its too late.
