You like SCV? That's SO WEIRD! ME TOO!

I'm a musician from St Louis. I like fighting games, Soul Calibur included. My free time is pretty much music and gaming, so I'm always down to talk about either one. I've got a 360, and my Gamertag is Night Phyre.

I like learning about my fighting games by watching those better than myself... I STEAL THEIR SKILLS!!!

I like you already. You're like the highlander... or maybe some kind of folk monster.

In any event welcome to the boards man, what kind of music do you play, pray tell.

I've lead bands in the modern metal, run-of-the-mill rock, trip-hop, and electronica varieties, but I'm currently focused on a stoner rock/metal band. Lots of fuzzy, downtuned riffage. I'm actually laying down vocals for the first couple of those sometime next week; if you're interested, I'd be happy to get you some mp3s.

Honestly, I do just as much (if not more) work with other people's bands. Most of them are awful, and I die a little bit inside each time a record them. I do get to be a music snob, though, so there's always that.

... Musicians are way cool, btw... ;)

Cool lay the low fi on me man and if you do catch the occasional good band I never object to a heads up. (I have never learned to play anything more complex than a kazoo, so maybe it makes me a horrible hypocrite but I'm a bit of a snob myself *nose in the air*.) I listen to the usual indie/alt spectrum which means anything from shoegazer to african drums and xylophone combined with cat noises and broken sirens. Okay maybe not that. *Rubs chin at new band idea*...
