this way. it's a gothic lolita hat. i see them in anime/cosplay and some music stores. they're pretty expensive considering how small they are. $50 or around there. they are a must for the gothic lolita fashion though. they're meant to be tilted on the head (often on the right or left side but i've mostly seen right.)

Oh, Lol! I thought u ment using it in a radically different way. Yea that's how i would use it as well, but i don't blame others for not knowing that bec im sort of an Otaku so i know that kind of shiz.

it's cool. shoot, anyone that knows a little bit of gothic fashion should know what the hat it for. i don't know if french or any other fashion incorporates that particular accessory especially since it was founded in Japan.

I really have no clue, im not really into fashion myself. I just...wear clothes that i think look nice :)
 
Oh, you draw as well i see. I have a question tho, have you made any medieval CaS' in SCV? Cuz all i saw from you were modern outfits and that kimono one for Keytara. U can pm me if u want as this does not seem like the place to talk about it.

not really because all the characters i make are from a story of mine which takes place in modern times. i have to post it here since on PMs you can't post pics unless it's from another website but seeing how this is still about originality i don't think it's out of line to talk about it here.

she looks a little different know but this is the only medieval person i have on roster so far because she's the only one that came from that time. Joan of Arc and Titania time frame anyway. these other two are wearing armor that could pass from then to now i guess.

Oh, she looks nice tho it's obvious that her design was influenced by anime lol Characters like her are what i'd like to see :) Not saying that u need to make medieval chars now lol

The other 2 look nice as well but not that great imo.

Oh i ment if u want to continue talking about this stuff than we should PM, posting pics of OC's should ofc be acceptable to do here. Otherwise it would be pretty stupid : /
 
Problem with modern is the weapons to me. Ive made armor less characters, however most of the weapons to me dictate what my character wears.
 
The thing I like about make modern characters is how challenging it can be. It's fun to see how close to modernization is it to make a character, especially in a game that's set in the 16th and 17th centuries. Making a modern character is thinking outside the box and challenges the game's standards.

Oh you mean like, Katana = Samurai design, Pole = Monk...stuff like that? I agree, im like that as well. Btw, my redesigned Tira CaS looks a little like your Hermes (cool background tstory btw) bec i used the same pants and top (it's also halve colored) lol i just noticed that :)

Indeed but not a lot of people are creative enough to do that, hence why i haven't even tried to make one.
So most of em end up looking the same, that is what makes me rather not see any modern characters.
If someone does an actual good, unique modern character than that's fantastic but as of now....
I haven't really seen any good ones except for maybe 1 i think to i don't remember whom or where it was from.

Exactly, thats how I feel. The Xiba weapon I did however make an armored character. But other then that, you get it.

Like my Viola, or Avan'a, I made 3 outfits, none armor. But only so many things you can do with that, witch being the obvious one, which is why I did like a gypsy character.

My Tira's not so good, but post yours please. =)

Yea but with Xiba it's different bec his staff has different skins like a Trident or a polearm so u can make something like a mermaid/man with the trident for example or a armored character like you did if u used the polearm.

I think that a Viola character could be lightly armored so she'll stick look light but the clothed looks is probably the way to go with that style.

Nah, it's pretty good :) I will, in my topic sometime today or tomorrow.

Thank You. They really are getting me compliments online. I've picked up using Lexia as well, so soon I'll start posting some asian inspired CaS's Hopefully more to share with the great work in this thread. ^_^

This time it seems Akatsuki characters won the big prize, there isn't a single day that ends without fighting a couple of those. Second place is for Ichigo, specially Holow Ichigo.

It seems this time manga characters totally surpassed FF chars

Funny thing is: online, I have yet to face anything other than original characters. Not even a hulk. Amazing.
 
Back again with some additional CaS's, as mentioned earlier, I started to pick up using Lexia who's awesome, so it prompted me to make some asian-esque characters; thus are the first three. I'm also working on using Tira again and that [with additional inspiration from EIGHTYYARDS's gorgeous Medusa creation] gave me an opportunity to take a crack at my own Medusa version. I need to get some asian names so I can stop using the R's. It'll be a while before I post more since I'm once again at a creative block hopefully we'll get some more DLC content soon. ^_^
