Petition for SoulCalibur III HD Online on PS3 and Xbox 360 release

I support the Arcade Edition of SC3 and only if its the latest version (version C that is) of AE. Many ppl haven't played AE, only a few lucky ppl like myself played it (I played version B btw).

I would be disappointed if NamcoBandai decided to stick with the console edition whether its NTSC, PAL, or JPN.

So I would petition for SC3 Arcade Edition version C after or before SC6 wouldn't matter.

Name one way in which SSB4 appeals to casuals.

3DS version: Smash Run: A mode like Kirby Air Ride's City Trial Mode in which players collect power-ups to grow stronger for the final battle.

Something tells me you have a different definition of casual. What's casual gaming to you?

I forgot the 3DS version even existed. Good catch.

It seems to me like Nintendo is really pushing for the competitive aspect of the game, at least with the Wii U version. The online features, the gamecube controller, the E3 invitational, the many winks and nudges to the competitive scene, etc. So they're probably catering the handheld version to casuals and the console one to competitive players... I like this approach.

The AI was stupid in that game, like really dumb. On tournament mode specifically, once you get up there in levels the AI just ducks under highs, breaks all grabs, instantly reads all inputs. You literally can only win with block punishment since the AI can't do shit to change frames (even though it really wishes it could :)

COTS was equally stupid because the AI would abuse the fuck out of whatever advantage (like no attack stun for instance) to no end. This mode was nothing but a grind to unlock shit for me.

You could have all the SP modes in the world but it doesn't mean shit when you have a cheating-bastard AI. It makes them all pointless.

Now SC2 on the other hand doesn't seem to have these AI problems to nearly the same degree (at least with the HD version).

Honestly SCV legendary souls is way better than all that combined because at least they attempted to make the AI realistic (it's still a long way from being realistic but you get my point)

I know it's frustrating when the AI do those kind of things. But that's it when you play in the highest difficulty in most fighting games. The AI will read all your inputs, duck all highs and break(or again ducl) all your throws. An about COTS, I don't think the AI was that hard there. I find legendary souls way harder. But that just me. (Maybe because I use extremely low tier Raphael lol)

Anyway, hell yeah to SC3HD!

Trust me, I know how dumb the AI was (damn you Amy..), but I could literally say the same thing about SC2. And either way, it doesn't matter to casuals or competitive players. To competitive players, all AI is button reading trash, while to casuals, all AI are (cheaters) a challenge. People are going to look back and be nostalgic and it doesn't matter that the AI is lying scum. All of the modes were fun and engaging, especially Tales of Souls and CotS. At least, that's how I remember it.
Even if that's true, at least SC2 had a solid, balanced game for VS. I can't say the same for sc3. And like I said, no SP is good because you have to deal with the AI.

please make SC3 HD online, this game was the most balanced and awesome game ever created. There were no glitches, and it even made more money than the Call of Duty franchise

Just saw some videos of SC3:AE. Amy was literally SCIV Amy, and Li Long and Hwang had original movesets. I wonder why they didn't make the cut for SCIV. But anyways, yeah, I'd prefer SC3:AE since it's a little more competitive than SC3. Best case scenario, SC3 modes with SC3:AE balance(?) and characters. Worst case scenario, no SC3HDO. Knowing Hoshino, he'll probably just port SC3 with crappy online.

Since they're getting rid of Unbreakable Soul because of it being a huge fat flop, this should really happen! As Sectus pointed out earlier they can just outsource it like SC2HDO to not let it bother whatever they're doing right now.

Come on Namco!!!!

Other alternative would be to find out how much Namco wants to license it out for then kickstarter the funds to make it independently.
