Sure it prevents counterpicking, it forces you to learn all matchups. But in the end its less fun and it forces to you play horrible matchups...when Hilde was still in the game it was really a joke for some chars, or even Keev with Nightmare was doomed to never win against those Ivys, Maxous Setsuka etc...i dont see how this is legit for competitive players.

I think the Ruleset we use in Germany is fine, once you choose your character against Person A, you need to stick with it for this set. Next Round against Person B you can choose another one and so on. So no counterpicking in between.

Dont be a fool and assume SC5 will be balanced out of the box, there will be fucked up Matchups, trust me.
