Xiba, Yoshimitsu, Cervantes and Aeon Confirmed!

Today, Famitsu announced four new characters for Soulcalibur V! While Yoshimitsu was "sort of" announced in the custom character trailer, there was never any real confirmation. As well, hints about Aeon Calcos comings from soundtrack leaks (the same way Raphael was discovered early). Aeon Calcos in case you don't know, is the original Lizardman!

In addition to the return of the immortal Cervantes, Namco has revealed a new staff user by the name of "Xiba". Xiba, a character clearly designed around the Monkey King from the Journey to the West story in Chinese Folklore. Several months back, Daishi stated on his twitter that Kilik was an "ill-fated" character. With the introduction of Xiba, it begs the question: "What happened to Kilik?"

there are only two things i dont like about yoshimitsu his stupid pogo stick and the fact that he has no point in the game story wise if they make him have a decent story i will give him a shot.

Setsuka also doesnt have anything story wise, yet you are cheering for her, shut up dude.

Gatsu, no, he is indeed a Goku clon with the personality of Yunsuck, I thought that you hated Yunsuck...

 

Smoke More Sheba

 

We can't be sure of Sheba's personality yet. He certainly looks happy, but that doesn't mean he has to be a cocky annoying douchebag.

Sheba looks cool! I like him.
I'm interested in finding out how Cervantes regained his youth storywise. He looks almost the same physically as in SE with his obvious differences.
Yoshi.Kicks.Ass. Kind of a throwback to his SC1 1P costume. He rocks.
Aeon... meh. Disappointed.

 

First impressions

Characters:
Sheba: Meh, he look too much like Yunseong (Which could mean there is going to be only one red head male in the game) and he seem to have Kilik's style.
Cervantes: I liked his design, I find him strangely hot now.
Yoshi: I always like his design, they are so wild. What more interesting is that this one seem to be new.
Lizardman: Interesting, he breaths fire, I also noticed that his wings are not always out.

Stages:
Ivy's stage: I'm already liking it, I'm wondering if the mirrors are going to move
Raft: The rafts where never my favorite stages by an ever changing background is a plus.
Ship: Unlike the first ship this one seem to be whole and I can't express how happy I am to have it storming again.

Others:
The cut scenes look gorgeous, I hope their are lots of them.

 

For some reason Sheba's hair reminds me of a Kingdom Hearts character.
Also, I can't stop noticing how big Cervy's pecs are...

 

ok you know what i'll concede Yoshimitsu is fun to play as but story wise he has no point.

Unlike a character whose only purpose was to get revenge on another character.

 

I fear Sheba is a Kilik's clone... According to famitsu, he was raised in the Ling-Sheng Su Temple...

Edit: Sheba makes me think of "Sheva" from RE5... When someone will lose a fight with him, do you think Siegfried/Chris will scream "SHEBAAAAAAAA!!!"? :D

Sheba is Sonson from MvC2. A complete disgrace to Kilik's legacy. The fighting style looks out right silly, having a lot of trouble taking him seriously.

Don't know if it's already spotted out, but I see some similarities between Cervante's and Ivy's costumes, both in jacket-shape and material (snake-like)
