I know what you're saying; it could just be one guys opinion. Personally, I would love to see what kind of diversity we'd get with a handful of added characters. I think basic system wise, the game will remain in-tact, but they will be adding small tweaks in to enhance what is already there. 6:12 AM in Chiba now, so we won't hear any official new for a couple of hours, that is, if Capcom plans to announce new information on the final Press day of TGS.

Don't fret, it's not confirmed yet and it's probably just an exaggeration. I can't imagine they would drastically change how the game plays.

I know my boy Shadowfox from NYC will play with you in November, as well as Shardz from Michigan if he shows. If I tell him people in Buffalo will play this, he'll almost definitely show. So by all means get people to play, I'll even try some Mashy Blood on Saturday if you bring it.

Possibly, depends on when you guys go (I get out of work at 9pm) and whether or not I finish my project tonight. LaserTron is always good fun.


Also Brian, paper says chance of rain on Sunday. If that happens, there's a much better chance for the Bills to win this one. Also the Giants just lost Kenny Phillips for the year, our secondary is getting thinner by the week. =(


SF4Dash not playing anything like SF4 is the best fucking news I've heard all day. If that really holds true, you bet I'll be giving it another shot, depending on what changes are made.

I think you guys should save the whining about what could be bad or crazy, until it actually is upon us and we don't have to rely on retarded scrub-casual observation hearsay and rumors, to throw ourselves into a worried tizzy about a game- no one RELIABLE has played yet...

Hey guys, just thought I'd post that I'm in the Buffalo area and recently found a love for SF4. Got directed here from the SRK thread, figured I'd post a little introduction, hopefully this is an okay place to do that.

I don't own any console newer than the PS2 so mostly I just play SF4 on computer with my USB gamepad, but I'm looking for some local comp or people to help me step my game up a bit, or just cool dudes to play and hang with. I do think my controller will work on PS3, dunno about 360.

So if anyone plays a lot of SF4 and wants to throwdown, I'm game. :D I also love SF3, and would like the chance to play BlazBlue and Accent Core, though they're probably a little too fast for my slow fingers.

Edit: Typo, oh, and my name is James, mostly go by Jamie outside of work and school.

And if anyone has SF4 for the PC, my name there is JamieAllegro.
 
Hey welcome to the crew man, hopefully you can make it out to some game nights soon. Do you know anyone else from here already? You're in luck as far as SF4 goes, it's all these guys play lol. If you wanted to play BlazBlue I can play some, but pretty much everyone else has quit, they really do JUST play SF4 haha.

I don't suppose you play Soul Calibur as well, do you?

I don't play Soul Calibur sadly, I've never been big on 3D fighters... or 2D fighters for that matter! I mostly played shooters, though I'm taking a break from them and have been loving SF4 in the meantime.

Talk to Chach, most likely your first spot will be at a UB game night. We play at his house twice a week (well those guys do anyway lol) but understandably, he has to know the people that show up first. We've amassed quite a crew of new players since SF4 dropped, some coming in as totally new players, others with previous experience.

p.s. ignore everything I say about SF4 as a game lol, I'm just a hater. You'll figure it out.

To Crab, welcome to the Buffalo scene. Kowtow is right, we do pretty much just play SF4, though theres some other games here as well. I'm one of the guys who used to play Guilty Gear, but that's sorta behind me now ha. Good to see someone new join up. I look forward to meeting you in person. See ya soon!
 
I am coming up on November 6th for a boxing match and will be staying untill the tourney. NuNiE and the old crew will get some quality time. Jugg it is mandatory that you attend this match with me, $45 ticket homie. Everyone else is invited to come too. Can't wait, I'm hype.

ggs tonight dudes....you guys need to work up on your mixup game when you have your opponent knocked down, I think that's the only glaring flaw in most of your games....that and punish me for doing stupid shit! Half the stuff I throw out and whiff never gets punished.

Who cares if you look stupid and can't punish something you were unsure about....the only way to learn is to try. I'm not gonna laugh at you and say lolololol you tried to reversal _________ you must be bad. I try new stuff almost every night to see if it works (I tried to headbutt focus attacks twice today and failed miserably, now I know).

Lastly, everyone needs to stop getting so frustrated when they play. Frustration only leads to clouded judgement which leads to poor play and a bad state of mind. If you aren't having fun, take a break or a breather or whatever, it's just a game! When Jug beats my ass left and right I try to figure out what he's doing and what I'm not doing....taking it slow means I can up my game and be rational.

Anyway, that's all I got, see you all Saturday.
