Good Gamez. Great Timez.

Thank youz:

- RXS+gf for helping run SFIV smoothly, as well as supplying PS3s and streaming.

- Thank you djKun as well for helping with setup, bringing PS3s, and just being an all around Positive guy. You should start playing Soul Cal, its better than Tekken!!

- Thank you Russel for helping bring equipment, running T6, and gaying me out of Top 3 in SCIV. (BTW We had 12 players....12 HARDCORE PLAYERS!!)

- Thank You EMILY (You da BEST!!). I dont know what I'd do without you, likely go crazy. Thanks for everything you do to make these events the best. I believe the whole community agrees if I say you're PRO-LEET and running/organizing events!! Chris is Lucky...
PS - TOP TIER (CUP)-CAKEZ!!

Props:

- Oof You took SCIV. You're just lucky I didnt have to face you.
- Vints Good match, you got revenge on me for RiT.
- Emily for beating eli123s!!
- CHA CHA for coming all the way down. Your presence always brings the event up a notch!!
- JUG the Man of the Day. Eric was telling me he was ready for you. When you lost to STC-Bison, we thought we wouldn't even see you in Finals. You proved us Wrong. LMK if you need my pad for NEC!! Its Top Tier I know!!
- LAWRENCE!! Tekken Canada New Official Captain!! Good shit on taking Tekken. You were worried about facing Barry, Mahir, Russ, they should've been more worried about you.
- BUFF player who came 3rd. Good games early on, and good shyt repping Buffalo. You guys definitely need to make the next event, and we will def return the favour.

To everyone in general, I hope you all had a good time. Laggy TVs is our #1 problem and I'm going to do my best to solve this problem. Seems like VGA cables on LCDs is our best bet, if not CRTs.

I got criticisms for myself, but thats for later. I want to take this to the next level.

Good times. Had fun, but wish I could have played more. Mysterious mystery guest especially.

Not many shoutouts since I didn't get to play anyone!

Emily I would hate you for beating me all the time, but I can't so I won't. Nice cake.

Russel beat me again. pfffffffffffffffff.

OOF, good job not letting Russel win.

I got vids, they should be up tomorrow.

I'm glad that everyone enjoyed this tournament, I know I did!

Oof: Thanks for running the SCIV bracket and bringing all your stuff! You did a great job and congrats on winning again Master Vadar!

Page: Well it's good to know that I'm not hated and that you like my cake! I'll bring something else for everyone next time too.

Eli: Those were some tough matches against you! Your CS throws always catch me off guard, especially when they happen twice in a round! You definitely have a beastly thumb. =)

Celebrity Emily's #1 Fan: I'll beat you one of these days! >=D

Dino: Your shoutout is on SRK but you adapted to my throw game this time around! And yes, Chris is a lucky! Some black guy keeps trying to steal me away from him but it won't happen. =p

Chacha: It was nice actually meeting you in person and I enjoyed our X mirror match. Thanks for making the trek up to Canada with the rest of Buffalo. You guys definitely bring the hype! (Jug is a beast.)

First and Foremost, thanks to Dino for the place. Emily for the cakes and other things.

Thanks for the $12 guys. Although I got to say, either i'm just too good or the TO community is getting weak. I will think the first since I can't bare to think the SC TO is getting weaker.

I really shouldn't be placing this high anymore. Cmon people try harder next time.
Experience wins over everybody I guess.

Page: Sigh, don't worry one day you'll win against me.

Dino: The curse will not be lifted 4th is where you will stay. Maybe you can win a match next time. bleh!

Vints: Sorry but my Yoshimitsu is still too good.

Oofmatic: Don't worry i'm getting there. A few more months of not practicing shall help me conquer that dark side. LOL. I almost got you.

I was thinking of not playing SC in NEC but seeing as how good I am even though there's no practice, i'll see what place I can get at. Wish me horrible luck guys cause I know I'll be there to stop some people from winning. LOL!! That's what i'll do from now on. Not win but stop people who think they will win.

NeoRussell

Cha Cha: Calibur 4 lyfe.

Amaury: Stop cheating. Use your true characters.

Emily: You didn't have to root against me just because I was playing Stryder. Is that how you treat your fans?

Russell: I think you take your wins for granted. Such an attitude won't help you if Yoshi gets worse in SC5 like he did in SC3. Also, I have a compliment for you. Your fighting style is tough to figure out and I appreciate learning more about it whenever I can.

Stryder: Always a pleasure to see you. Good luck in Tekken.

Eli: CS? You don't do that. Cut it out.

Page: We didn't play. But hearing you make fun of Junior makes my day.

Dino: Amy? Quit sandbagging. Haha, good match as always.

Salizburg: For a new competitor, you were quite calm during your tourney matches. Almost resembled a natural. I know you have potential to do well.

John: It keeps dying, and dying, and dying.

Vints: I believe you. I promise to do well in NEC.

NeoRussell

Cha Cha - I find your lack of faith disturbing.

Emlarr - The ability to bake a cake is insignificant next to the power of the Force.

NeoRussell - You don't know the power of the Dark Side!

D.I.N.O - Give yourself to the Dark Side.

STD - I've been waiting for you, STD. We met again at last. The circle is now complete. When I left you I was but the learner. Now I am the master.

Eli123s - You have done well, my apprentice.

Vincent - Impressive. Most impressive. You have been taught well. You have controlled your fear. Now, release your anger. Only your hatred can destroy me.

Stryder - The Force is strong with this one.

Salizburg - The Force is with you, young Salizburg, but you are not a Jedi yet.

Page - I am your father..

gw8t3st - You underestimate the power of the Dark Side. If you will not fight, then you will meet your destiny.

Lawrence - Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Vader? Cake? Hmmmmm . . . .

lol, now I'm kinda hungry.

Anyway, great time at the tourney, I was a lot more relaxed this time around (probably cause I had a couple beers, lol) and it was tons of fun. I need to do more casuals next time, I was a little intrigued by T6, I must confess. Also, I've gotta ditch my night shifts, so I can actually stick around for the finals for once T.T

Thanks Vince and Oof, though it's clear I've got a lot of work to do. (My tourney record: 0-2'd 2-for-2, lol)

GGs everyone, awesome tourney, awesome players. T.O. rocks!

It'll be tough to get that work in if you don't have time to sit and play with these guys. Just showing up for tournies, losing your two games and running off to work isn't going to be a very efficient way of progressing. Lucky for you guys like Amaury really REALLY fucking love Soul Calibur, so if you can make the time, they'll play that shit all day lol.

I am also impressed by the fact you made your whole shoutout post related to Starwars Amaury. However I want to see YOU bake a cake for the next tournament. Let's see your force do that! (Also no help from your girlfriend is allowed!)

Salizburg: Don't feel bad about going 0-2'd. I've been playing for a little over a year and it took me a few tournaments before I even got one win. You should definitely come out to gatherings whenever we have them!

Ah, it's cool guys. I'll be the first to admit I haven't done all I can to help myself improve yet, but I know for a fact that I'm willing to put the effort and time in, and that I'll be doing so from here on. This series has always been and always will be my favourite fighter, so for me, it's definitely worth it.

And, yeah, I've got some bad online habits to break, so I'll know to be patient about my progress, lol. 8P

I understand that this sounds off topic in response to your quote but I think you got to look on the bright side of things.

Even if they don't have much time to practice as much as the players you've mention the most important thing I've felt is that they get to observe what's like to be there.

Itz a good thing cuz itz the experience these players acquired and pass it on for the next generation.

Hopefully this shapes up pro gaming in a much better way.

Just curious guys, how often do you have events/gatherings(any size really) in TO? I live about 2hrs away and it would be cool to get into the offline SC scene. I couldn't make it to the last one because of university commitments, but I'm sure I could make one another time.

I only play at gatherings or tourneys and it doesn't change the fun factor. I'm weird, though.

Anyway, the videos will be done tomorrow. There are lot of them and uploading and editing will take some time (going to do it in my sleep, like a boss).
