I noticed Alphamale and Ice was missing some combos too, so it makes sense that Grange would too especially considering its his first tournament.

I remember that I messed up lots of combos at my first tournament too :P
 
schneider: yea, i told link that that TV had some type of lag on it. And yes, it was noticable (which reminds me...i need to calibrate my TV...). but yea...don't talk shit about my lil jon impression....that's how we roll down here in TX.

Link's Ivy is starting to look more like a Euro Ivy.

Pros: Usually more effective

Cons: unoriginal (best I could come up with)


I guess what I'm trying to say is, you've improved, LINK. I enjoyed watching :)

Grange was at the Houston regionals BTW.
Tournaments aren't casuals people, you have to be very level headed to not make mistakes, considering the tournament was also 1 match elimination and character locked.
 
Alright back on topic. From what I saw from all the vids, Granger has shown more of what he could do offline than online. I've played him online long time ago but wasn't able to see much of what he does. However, itz a long time ago so he has a lot of time to improve.

Most interesting match was him vs Linkrkc. Espeically at 0:20 when he trips Ivy I thought Ivy was done for but miraculously he was able to get back up on time. Also I think Linkrkc missed an opportunity when he ducked Nightmare's second kick and counters with some WS B instead of the other one that launches him backwards.

Against KingAce @ 1:25 after you stun him with your kick I think Nightmare's KK (The initial kick that picks him off the gournd) will work and ring him out but thankfully you won that round.

That's pretty much all I have to say since I don't know much about Nightmare. Also I think you need to utilize step a bit more IMO.

Ivy has three WS B's, each is different and available in certain stance. Link was in CL stance and there aren't any moves from FC that launch backwards. What you are talking about is WS B in Sword Stance.

He's awesome wit ivy but from watching his SC2,SC3, videos i think he was at an higher level wit her than SC4.

yea i miss combos offline not because of tv because im comin from online to offline . i lost to link cause for 1 he is good for 2 i didnt think he was that good heheh
alphamale lived cause tha last hit was a hold a stance k but it didnt hold and no more mistakes were allowed not sayin i would have won dont get me wrong lil dude can play butttt.............................................................it ............was.........a.........wall.........combo in his future hehe
