Yeah he was decent in SC3 and he didn't even really practice.... I imagine him doing well and surprising some people....

I know... that does suck :-/... We'll have to do it extra big @ Evo... Serge it's not too late! Word on the street is someone might be driving. ;-)

By the way... I'm having games for Tekken over my place tonight and making the discs if you guys want to pick them up... Or you can just wait til tomorrow it's up to you...

I'm not gonna drive, haha. That's way too long. Plus, I can't even register anyways. I'll think about the next one though. Maybe they'll have two games I'll be able to enter next year.
 
I think it's a bad idea personally... SC2 was great and I loved it, but we really need to let it go... I think a lot of people who are pushing SC2 are people who were not able to achieve the same level of success that they did back then.

I think we need solidarity around the currently played game SC4... 159 people and competitors coming from all over the world shows that it's not a "dead game" (It still hasn't even been a year old yet!)... It's just a matter of perception and I think we perpetuate that perception by having tournaments for SC2...

Harsh, but I agree. I may not be the world's biggest SC4 fan, but I can't say I'd be eager to go back to StepG2, either.

Ice, are we splitting a taxi tomorrow or did you get that ride you were hoping for? Also, could you bring a PS3? Otherwise, I don't think we'll be able to play in the room at all.

Here's my 2 cents.
I think it would bring people out for FUN! Like how Trashday brought out some old school cats for TTT. Play it for fun. 3rd Strike is just as old as SC2 and it still has a good following. So I say offer it but don't Major it till SC4 becomes a lil older.

Like Ice said. 159 people. That's not including the 10+ people here in Pasadena. And the houston people are starting to come out. Cox said he has a few more people that are coming out of the woodwork.

About the Gathering. Please record vids of this. I want to see just like the last Chris Gold was posted up.

I'll call my brother tonight and get the final word on the ride... Seeing as how it will be 5 of us... I don't see us fitting into his car but we'll see.

And I was hoping you would pack the PS3 so I wouldn't have to... lol... ah well... I'll bring it.
