Avoid is SC2 was automatic. Here in SC5 you actually have to input something to step.

For some reason, I kinda want to see some Korean wushu stylings out of Leixia. Rather than being an exact copy of Xianghua - which she should bear some similarity - I want to see some interesting new moves to her that'd pretty unique to her. Whether it be flashy footwork or a more sweeping style. Maybe a bit more (useful) acrobatics added to her style.
 
Seeing X getting replaced by her daughter, presumably, makes me think Killik stands a better chance or returning. I mean, being a man dedicated to training, and only deviating to whack things with his stick in the ring and in the sheets, he must have stayed in shape. Specially the considering how Mitsu's saki slurping self stayed strong all those years.

Just I could see him hanging around to protect his daughter. X being preoccupied with more clerical work as she rose in the ranks on the China Dynasty's military would mean daddy Killik would have to venture across the world protecting their daughter from whatever...

As you can tell, I do agree that kid belongs to Killik. She does have his necklace. And I think old Killik with some gruff and being a father would be "bad ass", as in his seasoned appearance and caring for his child in addition with his dail meditation gives him some fresh new improvements on staple moves and a greatly appreciated tough guy look, least to me.

On a side note; Xianghua has a beautiful style that I hope he daughter emulates, but doesn't copy. Meaning, I hope Leixia can bring her own elegant flair like Natsu does with Taki's discipline.

I can see Kilik going on a goose chase after Leixia all across the world. Daddy loves his baby~
 
I just love how that picture they showed at the largest fighting game-focused tourney/con thing in the US looks like something you could find on DeviantArt. But hopefully this apparent trend of replacing established female characters with younger and even less threatening versions won't continue. Im missing the badassness and seeing too much strawberry shortcakes.

And why have I heard that her name was Linhua.
 
So Daishi says the Kanji is 蕾夏, which according to Google, means "summer bud" :( I was hoping so much it meant Tired Flower.

as mentioned somewhere else, Leixia translates to "budding summer", given the order of the characters. But I agree, tired flower would have been kinda cool °.°
 
I think Leixia will have a brother who'll replace her father/Kilik.
It's like Pyrrha and Patroklos,Leixia and her older/younger brother.

WAAAAY to steriotypical IMO..... why would they do TWO set of siblings. Not that i wouldnt be absolutley freakin vomit-enducingly excited if they did do the Kil-uha children.

if anything, twins. would be KINDA cute....... but not likely since the alexandra children stole the sibling spotlight this time around early off lol
 
Patroklos and Pyrrah are indeed siblings, but for Leixia to have one aswell? We all want a good roster, and I don't doubt that a son of Kilik's would have a great style but we also don't want this to turn into happy families. God, the next idea to go around after this will probably be along the lines of: "I think Ivy should have a long lost sister". A good idea Soul, but I think that if your idea is taken into consideration and it happens, it'll turn SC into the "happy families" game. We don't want that.

They will most likely find a new spear/staff wielder to replace Kilik who is not related to Leixia at all; for all we know, Bangoo could be the new spear/staff wielder.

You better hope that there aren't any Greeks on 8WR who are going flame you for this; I know you said it was a joke, but some are more serious than others. However, that does not mean that The Mage would not find a flame war amusing, but it may result in this thread closing down so that wouldn't be funny at all.
