Well hello =)
I've been knowing SoulCalibur for something like a year and I've immediately became a uge fan of this serie. My favorite characters are Tira and Raphael, and I really hope that he's in SCV !

I want to say more but I'm a french canadian and I'm not THAT good in english, but I do my best. I'm also known as Ravener01 in deviantART and some other website.

I've cosplay Tira in her SCIV 1P outfit at the Otakuthon and I'm planning on making her SCV outfit for next year's =)

I apologize for my english, I think that I can make myself clear, but forgive my errors XD

Hi Ravener. Welcome to 8WayRun! I am one of the moderators of the New Player Arena. My job is to help you find your place in our community. So I have a few questions for you.

Do you play competitively, casually, online, or not at all? These aren't really required but most of the stuff you'll find here is catered to learning to play the game at a higher level. There is a place here for everyone though so even if you don't play, I'm sure you'll fit in.

There's a thread here that can help you with the basic understanding of movelist notations, acronyms and joystick commands. You can check it out if you're interested: 8WayRun General Directory and Offline Matchfinder Reception This thread here will get you up to speed on how to read the forums efficently. You can use it for reference if you ever run into something that you don't understand. Or you can simply ask here in your thread and either myself, or one of our members will answer it for you.

By the sound of it, you have alot of pictures you want to share. Feel free to create a thread over here and share them with us: Image & Art Distribution

You don't have to worry about your english skills. By the looks of it, you are much better at it than some of our members whos main language is english.

I'm not sure what else I can do for you right now. There's always information being posted here about SC5 as soon as Project Soul announces it. You can pretty much find that information either here: SCV Multi-platform or on the Front Page.

Sorry but I don't have a PSN, since I only have a PlayStation 2 and no internet acces on it.

I play time to time. I have SCII and SCIII on PS2 and Broken Destiny on PSP but I don't play the games so much ( I prefer to play with my friends and obviously, they don't really live near me XD ). And also, I always take the same two in game : Tira and Raphael. I like some of the others, like Ivy and Siegfried but Sieggy is too slow and Ivy too tricky XD I still need to practice, and I want to improve my skills with Tira before starting to play an other character ~

Yes, Ivy takes practice and effort, because you have to learn how to change in the different stances (SW-Sword CL-Coil Wp-Whip). But check her out, she worth playing... to me at least.

GameGirl360 : Oh I've tried her a little, I really like her style, and I've been abble to finish her story in SCIII ( which is big for me XD I'm only a beginner ~ ) so I think I'm not THAT bad with her, hehe XD But Tira is still me favorite one, she's tricky too but that doesn't matter when you like a character 8D

hey, and welcome. hurry and make sure to save some money for a system to play SC5 when it comes out next year. You can easily keep up to date on it here at 8WR.

Don't worry, I'm thinking about getting a PS3 for many years. When I'll have the money, I'll make sure to have one to be abble to play SCIV but most of all : SCV *^* Tira is too awesome to not get the game XD * Tira's biggest fan XD *

I could never play Tira. Like I need to learn how to switch from Jolly to Gloomy or Gloomy to Jolly. I mainly use everyone. But Tira is my least favorite.
