Fought i like to say hi to the soul community!

was wondering about learning a new character for soul 4-5 and was wondering whats a good character learning.

been playing sophie, sieg, astaroth for some time and i want to break away from it
 
Hi welcome to the site.

Choosing new charecters can be tricky. Since you already have Sieg down Nightmare would be a logical choice. The Sam logic could be applied to Sophi,Lizardman or Cassandra might be a good idea.

-If you have really solid basics X is a really good choice,shes easy to use and shes fast.
-Kilik is fairly simple as well but he willrequire a little more time to learn then X.
-Mitsu Might b a good choice sinc he can be played in so many different ways.
-If you want something different, try Voldo.
-If you want a challenge, Cerventes or Vader would be a good choice.

Heya man, nice avatar, I like it. Any idea who it is?

Couldn't tell you who a good character for five is since I don't know too much about it. I can tell you from the look of things Pyrrah will probably be quite familiar to you as a Sophi user. As for IV it depends on what you're looking for.

Thank you Egg, funny about those choices there, i think out of the list there i haven't tried from Soul 1 is Cassandra, and shes a bit to much of a glass cannon for me. But have been trying to play Zaslamel and Tira from 3&4 though.

Hi Hien. Welcome to 8wayrun! I am on of the moderators of this section, and I am here to help you find your way. I'd like to ask you a couple questions.

How are you playing? Do you play online? Do you have a local community that you play with?

Are you a competitive player or casual? I've noticed you're looking for new characters to play. Why is this? Are you simply just bored? Not progessing as you'd like? Mastered them already? We have sections of the forums dedicated to all the characters where you can go to post and read what you and other people have learned with that character. You can check them out here: Soul Arena's

Any character can be a good learn. Mitsurugi first comes to mind because he has all of the basic tools to win at any level. Learning this character can teach you alot about SoulCalibur. Tech traps, maximising combo damage, frame advantage mixups and stuff like that. He is a solid solid character. He's kind of like the Ryu of SoulCalibur.

You should have a look in our Regional Matchmaker section for the area where you live. There might be a community locally to you that post here as well. If you don't see a post for your area, feel free to start one yourself if you so desire. Regional Matchmaking: The Rest Of The World
