So what's the deal with Buffalo next week? Is there something going on? Are we going? Where can I get a ride?

thanks to russell/ and eli for coming over today for pure training!

after doing nothing but just guarding for 5hrs straight against all the moves in the game and unblockables

i say we are 80% acc on reaction. Lets keep this up guys!

I just replaced GI with just guard. Where I would have normally done a GI in SC4 i now do JG in SCV, but im trying to find more uses for this since it raises meter.

Question: what is the best followup after a JG for you? Do you have enough time to buffer 236b? Or is BB just the best option?

"As a community we stand"

Put it on notice guys. Senior, Junior and Sunny has been taught the NeoRussell trick to Just Guard. If you want to learn my method, i'll show it to anyone on Wednesday in A&C World. I share everything with everyone and hope everyone does the same. That is the only way we get to be good as a community.

STD: What would you guys do without me? Doing some fancy shit about just guarding and then NeoRussell comes in and shows you how to do it the non-ghetto way. Thanks for being a great host and hope to do it again next week.

Sunny: Thanks for EVERYTHING you helped out with this weekend. THANK YOU 30x.

Chris: Depends on the move you just guarded. Guaranteed is BB or AA. Some moves you can get away with 236b. Long ass moves can be CE'ed after just guarding.

Next tournament will probably be Feb. 25th. That's 3 weeks from now. Hope to do something soon.

Who wants to go to Buffalo? Sunny? Senior? Page? Somebody who has a non-expired passport pls.

I'm down to go to buffalo, also I would love to master JG. Canada will stand at the top of the sc community

I've got the theory of JG down, have been able to do it in matches a few times. With this Russell method I shall be flawless! Gyahaha!
...Help is appreciated :p

It scales with the move. You get a few extra +frames. So a move you could bb punish if you jg you can 3b. A move that's safe if you jg you might get bb. Or CE, since Pat has a fast CE.

Russell, teach me the ways of the Force Just Guard. It's a foreign mechanic to me and I need to master it. Once I do my Le Bello is going to be OOFLIKE. Not that he isn't already.

QUESTION!

Do you think that different HDTV brands will affect JG consistency due to the varying input lag between TV's? Would it be best to just become exclusive to playing competitively on Asus monitors once we begin to master it?

Asus monitors are the Evo standard. So if you are going to practice and you want to ensure that your timing is dead on, it's recommended that you look into possibly getting one.

That was the most productive training session I ever had. Hopefully we can do another. I'll bring food this time.
