I'm Reiki, hailing from Brazil!　よろしくです！

Although I'm not really new into the series (nor into the fighting game scenario, since I play most of the other fighting game titles as well), Soul Calibur V is the first one that I'm aiming to play on a level higher than the casual scenario. Since this Forum is dedicated to the Soul Calibur series, I think I'm in the right place! I hope I enjoy my stay here and whenever possible, I will try to help the people here.

I've started with Natsu and Xiba this time and since this time the online mode is so much better than the previous game, it's being really fun!

Currently I'm playing on PS3 and usually I can get 4-5 connection bars with people around South America, 3-4 with NA people and 2-3 with people around Europe (but even so, on most of times it's being ok to play). If you want to play, lemme know!

Hey there, I'm also in the same boat as you. Except I'm actually completely new to SoulCalibur, and fighting games other than Super Smash Bros. (and a bit of MK9) so this is all pretty new to me.

I'm actually planning to attend Texas Showdown in April for this game, so if you wanna play on PSN sometime feel free to add me.

Seems Xbox 360 players are a bit of a minority here?

Sueng Mina was one of my brother's best characters, seems strange indeed that she was removed from the series when she was one of the younger characters in the original.

I'm not really sure about Soul Calibur V, but on some other fighting games like SSFIV AE and UMvC 3, there are so much more people on Live than on PSN.

And yeah, she definetely have to come back. Opening Treasure ftw! lol

Well, Natsu is great indeed, but I don't think she's "overpowered" as many claims.
I see you main Z.W.E.I and Viola. So far I think they have some of the most cool looking combos in the game (although not necessarily the best). Maybe I will try them soon as well!
