Step punishment.

Namunamunamuna...
I'm finding 22B whiffs so many moves that I've been figuring out when it can land 22K instead. If you land it normally you would be too far to land MCF for a solid follow up but due to the opponent advancing it gives you the distance when used to step attacks much more regularly. Plus if they block a lot of time you can feed them a MCF on CH anyway. Any thoughts and or suggestions?

I've removed 6K from use unless it's for step punishing/interruption/wall splats. That's one of his best options there for quick damage and decent oki. 22B does have problems sometimes but it's safe enough that I still use it whether or not I get a random ass whiff because usually I won't be caught with my pants down after it. 33_99B Shark Attack series (while stopping at random points to make it pseudo safe) would be another solid option. I really go to 3B or 6K almost always after a successful step though.

I'm retarded. I meant to say 22K.... If that makes the above post any more sensible hahaha!!

Another thing about 22K is the sheer damage factor. It allows you to actually put some of Yoshi's meter to use too!! 22K, MCF, 66A BE, bA is 100 + damage just for stepping a move! Not too shabby and if they do block they are still at the risk of eating MCF or a:B+K if you're feeling ambitious for the same combo with a different starter. 66A BE after MCF seems range/ angle dependable but it's reliable after 22K or Parting Thrust but not after a direct Ch MCF it seems...

Oh, you said 66K in your original post. 22_88K is awesome. A simple 22K > 3B > 6K combo is nearly 100 dmg. That's probably a great option but it's a little slow so you'd have to hope the move they throw out is just as slow.

That's why I'm trying to feel out which moves I can slip it in on. Also 22B is less likely to whiff if you delay it a bit but then it won't hit some moves.
