[Arizona] AZ and friends!

i may be interested myself for the madcatz tournament and norcal regionals..... we need to get together to work on some things. Dogg I have experience with maxi and can use him some what proficiently.
As for Tucson, I have driven more miles back home for tournaments, as long as there should be a decent showing I`ll try to make an attendance.

Alright, normally I host for another game on Saturday night but e-sports killed that game cold -- so I'm going to try to do something different. I want to host SC5 games Saturday night. I currently have two setups (one X360 and one PS3), if you want more you'll have to bring them. I can stream off of the X360 setup so we can embarrass ourselves in front of tens of people online. It would be from 6 PM on Saturday until I kick everyone out (Midnight or later). Probably order some pizza or chinese food or whatever people feel like. I'm down near Golfland Sunsplash in Mesa; PM me if you want the exact address.

I won't be able to go to the Tucson tournament or the new UAT tournament, since I work Saturday mornings and the start times are too early (have they even announced a start time for the AIAB tournament?)

I'm interested in going to the Madcatz event and maybe NCR (less so NCR; I would probably have to jump on a good deal for tickets to go out there since I'm not driving 18 hours). My one concern about the Madcatz event is that it's about six weeks out and they have announced diddly about it; if it gets much closer than that I won't be able to get the time off from work.

I already have plans Sat/Sun, but I'm free next week.

Also, I will be late for the Wed tournament. Have to pick up the lady friend from the airport at 9pm, so I won't be able to get to Manawerx until 10pm or so.

kpc: I'll text you at some point. I can't play today, but I'll have time next week.

For fucks sake bryan really?!?

I was alluding to the fact you were the dr. of love. My phone apparently did its own thing. theres a few things missing that i wont repost. and the got beef was supposed to be seperate.....a reference for you.

must....play.....more sfxt....

why oh why did namco have such shitty timing with the release of sc5. I like the game........but...sfxt..

Holy shit guys, I'm alive.

I'm no longer sick as all hell, and my papers are all written. I might be able to finally start attending stuff again. Sorry I went MIA so long (though I was the one keeping the thread title and first post updated).

The Natsu was very solid, so I don't think I would've beaten him with Yoshi even if I knew the match-up better. However, I think I could've beaten the Maxi had I known where to block/interrupt. I also probably shouldn't have switched to ZWEI in that final match, but I was frustrated with Yoshi after the Natsu loss and figured I'd give him a shot.

That was hawkeye, and I figured you'd lose to him when I saw you guys against each other on stream. His taki was shaping up to be a beast in SCIV when I'd played him at FSAK, and that was SCIV taki late in the game's life. I even knew the matchup pretty well and he gave trouble. So I can only imagine what the large amount of time, and a hyper buff to his character did to him.

I'm hosting casuals at my place at 4 today. Sorry late notice, only issue is places to sit, haven't hooked up my place yet. If I don't great from anyone by 2 I'll make other plans.

Yeah, there's a tournament at Manawerx/Outpost Games tomorrow. Same as the one two weeks ago. I guess I can make a Facebook event for it.

Please hold...

Also, it seems as though the tournament on Saturday at UAT has been moved up to 1pm and is a 2v2 team tournament. I'm checking with T-Dot to see if SCV will stay 2v2 so if you don't want it changed, let me know.

If possible we need more set ups for the tournament. I should have two just like last time, but it would be much appreciated if we could at least get two more asus's and ps3's. Brace yourself for an awkward tournament, I think there are multiple people who plan on showing up late!

I could easily bring my PS3, but my monitor is less than portable.

I'm going to try my best to make it there at 9, as well.

Be warned everyone, I'm rusty as hell.

I may be there tonight, if so i'll bring a set up. my son is sick and depending on how he's feeling later tonight I may or may not go.

If I do go, i wont be there until 9ish myself.

And I literally havent touched the game once since the last tourney, I was on the sfxt train briefly, but I now think that the game is broken and ass so I'm back on sc5.
