Pocky Yoshi's critique.
In general, my favorite is your Tsukimiya. She appears to be some miko(shrine maiden).
Because she looks like she has potential. I mean, she looks like some kind of miko(shrine maiden). I'd probably change the hairstyle to something simple yet elegant. Tone down the red a bit and throw in some soft colors like faded purple to help.
The rest.....not so great. While it was good to see experimenting, they all kinda felt like quickies slapped on together with just not much thought.
My favorite color is blue, but I try to explore and go outside the uses of colors. As a result, I enjoy soft and dull colors because it helps customs that much better.
Black is a devil color Pocky Yoshi stays away from. It looks great if it suits certain characters, but it's a big no-no if all you can do is slap on a color and use the same color over and over. Like the obligatory red and black.
Because what if you made a badass knight with black? But you have too many peeps wear black which hurt the attention to that knight. It may seem hard to try out colors at first, but let me break the ice to help you by using my old CAS customs.
Example 1. My CAS Suzume. She's supposed to be the cutesy yet spunky fighting girl. Soft colors to show she's cute.
Example 2. My kunoichi Rei. I could of went with black and red, but I tried out different colors. In general, the cool ninja.
Last example. My CAS knight Claudas. Idea was ripped from Siegfried obviously lol. The typical pretty boy knight.
As you can see, all three are different warriors. The last two is obvious while the first one is just some cutesy fighter lol. Pardon my post.

I don't get people that lay into others for their CaS saying shit like too pink or too blonde. Everybody creates stuff based on what they like, and it should be respected.
Art is self-expression and there is a reason why no artist takes art critics seriously. Opinions are like penises: a lot of people have them but nobody wants them on display.

For Sherry, would you like to give your input on some color ideas? Kotama changed only slightly, he's still faceless XD Relia might change slightly, I want to give more detailed to her cloth leggings. I might keep Val but if I dom I'm probably toning down the darkish yellow with something softer or changing the style (it feels pretty awkward to use Hilde's style, for me at least). Oh so if I ever see you, I can expect a sleeveless shirt, capris, stilettos, and hair up? ;) Rei might have changed slightly though, she has a light but bright pink scarf and belt now.

In general if you ask for constructive criticism, someone like myself will critique with honesty. And offer suggestions to better them. Those 3 of my CAS are just examples of ideas on how colors can be used. It doesn't break my heart if you don't follow it. I'll respect the artist regardless and leave them be.
If you don't ask for criticism, then chances are I'll just ignore your CAS and move on if none of them really appeal to me for whatever reason. If any of them look nice however, I'll compliment them on what I like about it. So far I like KaiBro's shrine priestess and that's about it. Pocky Yoshi is not a fan of lying. He's blunt but tactful with peeps.

I'm actually still applying your criticism. Sir Pocky Yoshi. Well to my miko especially, but I'm still looking for others to apply it to. It is pretty hard on the top though since I wanted to apply a light purple color.

Sometimes you gotta make a copy of your CAS and "play with it" to find the right colors to help it. Tsukimiya reminds me of the plain beauty that is Kikyo of Inuyasha, but Pocky Yoshi wants to see you make your Miko more cooler than Kikyo by whatever means necessary. Google is your friend on researching and ripping ideas and applying it to your CAS if you feel more could be added, but if you're content then it's fine.

The hair is hard to change because they are lacking in that category. Although I'm trying to do something with hair, like hairbands, etc.

I hear you on that, but try some other oriental hairstyles or very simple ones with accessories. Or you could rip some designs from Kokoro of DOA. I believe she has some fashion stuff that can really buff your shrine maiden.
In general, it's okay to "borrow" designs and fix it to your liking. Peeps sometimes bounce off each other on ideas.
Look at Tira of Soul Calibur and Juri of Street Fighter. Though they're different, they both are designed to be the psychotic cuties.

Agree x100. I appreciate those that push people to make better stuff rather than just being silent (the worst). Or saying good things about bad characters, which happens a LOT online (for example, there's a lot of AMAZING Cas and recreations on this forum, but when you see the same thing but made worse online...it's disappointing).
I'm actually surprised to see this entire page 2 devoid of pics, KaiBro is lucky to get so much discussion. Echoing Brucege's feelings, it sucks to post pages of pics with like 1 or 2 posts of actual talk.
