Celmisia (my manga project)

I recommend Celtix(programm) for the Character/story info(faqs)...
..and Paint tool Sai for your Art/Graphics/Sketches,
 
I know this may be my opinion...but Paint Tool Sai has better tools to work with the 1st step sketches..manga Sturdio is fine for a NAME!
Hit me up if ya wanna see some lil works...can show you how it looks if ya get some work with Paint Tool Sai.

just googled it. looks very much like photoshop. my first step on the computer for drawing is the touch up and inking. i do the rough outline on paper. i saw a page done from that same step to finish on youtube. don't know if Paint Tool Sai would make a difference especially for page layout and details like that. even Tokyopop artist use Manga Studio and those mangas seem pretty good.

I know ... Lincy Chan(the only popular one) uses it.

Personally I feel SAI is good for inking. And yes, its a bit like Photoshop, albeit like a stripped down version. Works just as well, though.
 
Huh. It appears I'm the only one still using a scanner XD Never drawn anything on a computer.
Anyway, here's one of the characters I got approved by Vincent! ^_^ Hope I haven't made any serious errors.

The man's back impacted with the wall. He could have sworn he heard his spine crack.
"Who- who the hell are you?" he choked out, his own blood hindering his words.
"You don't know me, Lance?" the languid voice floated from the shadows.
"How do you know my name?!?" alarm bells went off in his head. Or had he cracked his skull too?
"I know you, Lance. I know everything about you. But do you remember a Mr. and Mrs. Archer?" Two black boots insinuated themselves into the flickering lamplight of the dead end alley.
"No, I mean, I don't know... Look kid, I'm sorry!" Lance pressed his aching back against the wall.
"What? What's there to be sorry about?" an eerie laugh. "That was a good hit. Had to do it with a goddamn fork in the end, right? That was creative! But next time you murder an apparent couple without an apparent kid, check the closet. You might leave something... unpleasant behind." Lance's heart sank into his shoes.
"You know what's fun?" his assailant's tone changed at once. "Knives! Knives are fun."
"Dear God... Get- get away!"

It was over. After ten years, it was over. A strange emptiness came over him. Alastor was about to leave the mess where it lay when he heard the radio in the man's pocket come alive.
"Angel, you there? Come in!" he made a face, pulled it out. He nearly hurled it against the wall to silence the annoyance when a sudden idea hit him. A wicked grin twisted his mouth."Angel!"
"Operative Blood Angel, reporting for duty."

Alastor is your average, next-door psycho killer. Tenacious doesn't even begin to describe him which made him become a hit-man after he killed his parents' murderer. He is also very good at what he does. Alastor prefers bladed weapon, says guns are too quick. Enjoys watching someone take his last breath. Also enjoys prolonging that as long as possible. He get bored easily and is always looking for something to hunt... or read which is, ironically enough, the strangest thing about him. If murder were a drug, he'd be thrown in rehab. He is likely a schizo... likely a gemini (XD) and makes some of his decisions by coin flip.
(subject to change depending on Vincent) Alastor joined Ergon in the hopes of finding something fun to do and to maybe give the caves a look if he has time... But he may have finally bitten off more than he can chew because if one thing is clear, Ancora and Arachnid Academy are not going to make this easy!
So, out of curiosity, what does Ergon's uniform look like, Vincent?
 
Good one there Kira! I see lots of potential =D As for adjustments, well...perhaps alter the height of the right shoulder a bit. If you draw a diagonal line across from the base of his neck, you'll see the alignment more easily.

I like the costume.

Thank you Luneth! ^_^ As for the shoulder, I see what you mean XD I'll keep that in mind. ;) I'm glad you like the costume, it's one of my favorites too. I think he turned out unintentionally moe-ish in the closeup though XD

actually Ergon doesn't have a dress code unless the character is apart of a faction or small organized group. like the Dark Hoods. they are like you more dark and sinister version of robin hood meets riding hood. they wear the same type of uniform but ergon isn't a school like the other two but rather an organization you could say.

Oh, so Ergon is made up of factions then. That clears things up :)

me too. before i would do projects like this for anime club and whatnot but people would lose interest and the project would never get off the ground. since i'm the head of this then i'll make sure this goes much further than those. shoot i am two pages ahead. and i actually got a story together. well more or less. mostly more.
 
Whoah, you put that song together yourself, Vince? That's so cool! I'm going to assume the choir is in japanese and I will be right XD
