Well that's a lot of positive feedback. Thank you all, very much. I'll just dump my responses in a Spoiler. It's funny because in real life I'm no way near this tidy. Seriously you could give me a penthouse suite and within an hour I'd make it look like the inside of a barn.
*WARNING: This is huge.*
And now to business, the business of hats to be more specific. Here we have a priestess of wind and a hunter of witches, as well as a recolour born out of sheer boredom.

Lonewolf Kai: Yep I do get bored and will probably throw in the odd curve ball every now and then. Again, I'm glad you take something from these since to me that's what it's all about: swapping and mixing ideas around. Your support is most welcome and I look forward to seeing what you make.
HolyCarp: Lambert's lower half is a Tartan wrap/skirt/kilt/thing. I did have the Pareo but it felt too big and I was aware that I was using it an awful lot. That being said, parts of the pattern do seem a little bit lost. The pictures usually look very different from what I see on my TV due to it being a relic, so some small details can be overlooked by mistake. The overall feel is what I was going for, though. Thanks for the feedback!
Captain Thesaurus Le Bello: Interesting pick for your favourite. When I put Trish and Thalas up I was keenly aware that their looks weren't all that dynamic in comparison to some other creations (both in this thread and in others). They didn't have a whole lot of colour, there wasn't any ridiculous extra equipment all over the place. I know this is all subjective but for those two (whose designs have been largely unchanged since SCIV/Broken Destiny) I was trying to walk the line between 'boring' and 'subtlety'. For what it's worth, Trish is one of my favourites. I'm also glad the gallery withstood the 2nd impression. Oh and you're right, it's the bird on Thalas' chest...and face...and back...I spammed that thing. Thanks for the kind thoughts!
ThePascuzzi: Stahl's skirt is one of my favourite character-specific things. It's in part due to it being sort of 'framed' by the belt and the trim- which is a giant pocket sticker. I love the effect. Same with Thalas, I'd imagine if you coloured the sticker appropriately you could get a nice glass-like or ice-like effect out of it. As for seeing them move, movement is always in the back of my mind when making characters. That's what things like Cali's Gear Shield, Kendra's Bow and the Tree Arm have in common, they were all made with how the character fights in mind. Oh and if you're into robots and other crazy stuff like that I'd highly recommend the galleries of Lord Draco, Chobek, Vilarcane, Gabedamien, Matty82 and ofcourse Gatsu. There's obviously other fantastic galleries with more fantasy/ethnic designs (Murasame, Rdmunhoz, Pocky Yoshi) but I'm fairly sure the ones I mentioned earlier have some robots and/or sci fi things in them.
DokuganRairyu: I get what you mean, I look at some huge galleries and don't know where to begin. I tend to just pick one or two characters and go from there. Some of these took longer than others. Stahl was made really quickly once I got a clear picture of who she was, whereas Alundir went through a couple of different looks before I arrived at his current one. Same with Kendra (f***ing bow!). And I agree: Feck off, Bay!
Norik: Funny story- Optimus Prime was made after I misread your challenge topic the other week. I'm looking forward to seeing your SCIV cast reinvented.
...that took effing ages. After this I'm going to just sit down and sift through some of the huge galleries that are around. There's so many....so...so many.

Talim (17 Years older)

"Aha! I have reach now, bitches!"

"Blah blah wind blah blah blah"

Ever wondered what really happened to Olcadan?
Bearach

Can you say "Thumbnail"?

"Hi, I'm the babysitter."

"What's that, Lassie? You ate Timmy for being an incompetent cretin? Have a biscuit."

Style over practicality: This is how accidents happen.

"Well I, for one, am glad you're wearing a mask. I can't even smell your halitosis anymore."
Bio:
Bearach is the reinvention of Carbatkin, a character I made in SCIV. He is cruel, calculating and devious. He is a merciless bloodhound willing to inflict horrific amounts of pain in exchange for information.
Taking a lot of inspiration from various different looks (Warhammer's Witch Hunter and cowboys being the two big, obvious ones) I had a lot of fun making a character steeped in the more occult, darker side of history. While 'mysterious' was a word I had in my head while making him I also wanted him to be unsettling and creepy. The goggles and mask help with that. I also liked looking at the difference in context between Talim- a completely pure and good character wearing the hat and this guy. I'll let you judge for yourself.
Moveset wise I've doubled up again and I don't care. ZWEI's style is perfect for him. The way he tilts his head down while standing looks oh so cool with the hat. He's apathetic, ruthless and vicious with a calculating edge. Not to mention is sword looks like a crucifix and I like the idea of him having tamed this unworldly being. Even hell fears him.
I'm a big fan of that hat, now. That's why I like the challenge threads because sometimes you need to look outside your own familiar box of tricks. Now I'm gonna kick back and breeze through some of these gigantic galleries that are around.
Oh and here's Kendra recoloured with a very unique, original, never been done before colour scheme. She seems popular:

"Requiescat in pace...or I punch you in the throat."
Have a good day!
