EDIT: 4A is ok, but not more. TC and a VERY small SS are at the first frames, so you can't use it for anything on reaction just like 4A+B.

i can completely understand any leixia main, having doubts about viability.
she even had problems pre patch 1.01 i was expecting some buffs but we saw nerfs.
don't think your alone as 90% of people who started out with her have droped her for other characters due to the nerfs
the only thing can say is that they always end up in square one which is back to leixia again.
players like kayane ,bibulus and RTD are just an example.
looks liek once you go leixia there no going back lol.

it looks like her good showing at final round, was what sealed her fate. its quite stupid that namco failed to realize that half the tourney entrants either had her as a main, or a secondary i really hope Namco fixed her asap she really needs huge help. its like if you dont get the first hit with her its a very hard task bringing it back because of her terrible damage and mix ups.
at least with her double CE there was hope but now its looks bleak.

i really wish people would play leixia for a week againts half good players, then come back and ask why complain.
some people are really clueless about this character she is not viable at a high level and yes she is worst than aeon and Zwei. raph and her are fighting for the worst character title.
the stupid thing about it is you can play as unsafe as you want against her with nothing to fear pyrrha and omega have stab you must respect.

Lol, you aren't the first person to tell me that she is 'not bad'. Ironically none of those persons is a Leixia player. I've spend so much time with Leixia in training and casuals, did research an punishment, auto gi, tech traps, wall combos,... And believe it or not: I dare to complain after all.

And imo, of the three characters you mentioned only Raphael is clearly worse. I'm not sure about Aeon, but Zwei is definitely better than Leixia imo.
 
Zwei is a pretty good character. People are always speaking about chars like NM and Sieg being better than they look on paper. Zwei is such a char as well. Belial, who mains him now, even thinks he might be top.

yes, very true people just jump on the zwei is bad train with only spending 5 mins in the lab with him.
ZWEI is much better than leixia in this game,especially post patch 1.03.
if you ask them why is he bad? you wont get much of an answer.
ZWEI is just the male version of viola one buff and he could be equally ridiculous.
these are the same people that were saying viola is low tier pre patch till she got buffed,now there crying she broken.
 
Well, so we've finally come to the sad conclusion: Leixia is not viable.

So then, shall we, until patch 1.04, figure out which other character is most like Leixia so that those seeking to be competitively viable can migrate?

Ian, Low tier is still low tier. It really doesn't matter if there are worse characters or not. I'm sure Maxi and Raph players in SCIV weren't saying "hey at least he's not Talim..."

I really don't think there'll be a patch 1.04... and if there is, history states she'll be nerfed even more somehow, since every patch she loses something. You guys have another option too: Stick with it and make her work. It may not appeal to everybody, but it's still an option.

I'm not singling anyone out, but just so people understand: Switching to a "viable" character doesn't guarantee you a victory. Bottom line is, we know she's in need of buffs, but they're not coming. We know she has to work harder for more reward, but no matter who you use, you still need to put in some work. (Yes. Even with braindead chars like Mitsu among others).

You play vs good players? How come ive never heard of you? Care to ft10 lex mirror?

Zack I used maxi and raph in sc4 and I literally said "at least they arent talim"

and no zwei is hands down the worst in the game

Pyrrha and Mitsurugi are the most like Leixia.
 
hmm Leixia worst than zwei? Im gonna start using the char leixia now....

please,anyone who has remotely spent time with leixia, against any decent level of opposition will tell you she is one of the worst in the game.
besides playing an average leixia, doesnt make your opinion any better than those who have spent so much time with her.
she is no longer tournament viable,playing me wont change anything she needs huge help or she could become the worst in the game.
"so evasive " really there all gimmicks WR BE is now useless and many more .
a damage buff wont solve half her problems and it will certainly not put her over the top.
xianghua was not great in four but no one complained or dropped her because she still could compete.
this version of leixia isnt viable outside of casuals.
you dont even need to look far to see players dropping her left and right.(and these are not tier whores either,these are fans of her fighting style who have stuck with her through out the series)
when a loyal X player in kayane decide shes not tournament viable, including 9o percent of players who mained leixia then something is wrong somewhere.
even none leixia players admit she needs help ASAP.
