Le Bello's Challenging Create-A-Soul Challenge Contest!

I'm very interested by this idea... I think the European specification narrows cultural representation a trifle... I should assume that Asia will be a topic for a later date... but this one can make a signifigant challenge for me... Most of my creations involve Asian patterns and influence... Kudos on the idea Le Bello sir!

Grats to the winners of the past contest! Well deserved indeed.

This next one could very well turn into stereotype city and if I see so much as one ginger Scotsman, I shall be vexed. I think it's a good idea though since in actuality people will probably strive to avoid stereotypes in order to standout. Now that I've said that, please wait with baited breath for my horribly offensive pile of national profiling. It's awfully dark down here in this hole.

@Idoll: A fellow Celt! I wiki'd the guy and I think there's a couple of things you could do. He's known for being frenzied, he's known as the Hound of Ulster and he has his own weapon. Use them as starting points and go to town. Don't worry if people don't know who he is. It's a case of "the information is there, if you know it, great. If not, he still looks cool". Usually if you have clear idea of what the design is it will be strong. You can always add accompanying text, as Le Bello suggested.

I'm looking forward to this.

Cheers!

Does it have to be modern?

Not at all!

I thank you. And I wasn't considering Asia as a theme, to be honest. Though maybe it's something I ought look into?

Just don't astound me further and cause me to pick you as the LBC winner again. The neighbours will talk! =|;}D

Why thank you for the help!
I plan to tweak his image just a little bit, and make him look somewhat mystic.
Though he was a gritty bad-ass before, well now he's a Mythological hero, so I think it's crucial some kind of mystic look takes place.

gosh, can i enter this tournament?, i would like to choose Finland, i am from México, but i dream of someday go to Finland and eventually live there, or at least go every summer vacatión, (because of the damn hot weather in México i think i will have a hard time in the winters, i´m kinda used too much to the heat) so, i will do a char based on finnish myths, like Tuoni the lord of the dead or something

well, can i enter??

As Samaras_Madness stated, of course you can!

There is, however, one ESSENTIAL quality you need before you can enter. It's absolutely vital, because, if you don't have it, then I regret to inform you your entry would be invalidated.

That quality is the desire to enter =|;}D Best of luck my Mexican friend!

by the way, can the CaS be modern? Because I think I have an idea if it's allowed...(and modern meaning, something you'd see in the 1980s-2010s)

omg, Dampierre smile face, is pretty awesome, thanks, i will do my best, once i read a book that said "when you enter a tournament, the most important thing is neither if you win or lose, the importat thing is to have fun and learn" and i inted to have fun and do my best!! F--K YEAH!!

It certainly can!

Thanks! I invented the smiley as a way of adding a little personal touch~

And I agree with your agreeing with the book. If you're not having fun, then it's not worth your time.

I'm in, for once, I should hoist my colors high! :D

This makes me even happier!

I'm more excited for this then I was for the past two challenges. I expect some great entries, I really do.

Hmm I do hope I am one of those expectations.
I may be vastly new to this whole 8WayRun, but I am not new to both Soul Calibur, or the amazing character creation system.
I am quite looking forward to this actually.
Should be rather entertaining.
