I was judging that based on pre-patch. It was just... weird. I don't mean the mindgames at play, but dropped punishes, combos, pressure, etc. Just... weird.
 
I guess we actually have to post in these forums to be considered a Leixia player? :p

anyways, i have to go through xephukai and dusk0naka to make it out of my pool at evo, i'm preparing for the match ups.

i play on PS3. found out last night that my weakness is someone that JG everything i do. even my AA is unsafe. JG is such a broken mechanic and shouldn't have been put on SC5 at least without the cost of meter. but this was called out from several people before the game came out. if you don't have a PS3 then i could try recording some matches although it's more about adjusting to each person.

i try pretty hard to go in the global C. and message other Leixia's to challenge but most people seem to play devil jin and mitsu and i'm personally tired of facing those two characters.

P.S. Sorry for the rambling. i'm not trying to come off as arrogant or think that i'm instantly the best there is. i was just stating an opinion about the vid and then about my experience playing the game.

Yup, Just Guard eats Leixia's a bit, which is, hilarious, honestly. And, besides, in terms of frames itself, I personally already thought she had the worst i11 or faster AA. JG itself as a mechanic isn't broken, it's the amount of advantage they give you from it. It's just handing you candy. Kind of ridiculous IMO.

But, you're not arrogant, IMO, just confident. I'd face you, but after finding out that Voldo body slam attack that was similar to Leixia's 3B+KK tracked in all directions on the second hit when Leixia's is escapable in every direction but forward, I believe, I stopped playing the game because I was tired of the treatment that Leixia was getting, and was basically boycotting the game until they fix it.

But, I'm getting back into it to keep my skills sharp, so I just have to get back into practice. I would like to see a couple videos though, if it's not too much trouble.

i know what you mean about that boycotting. i'm dropping the game if the next patch doesn't even some things out. in the mean time i'm still playing Leixia and picking up Ivy to keep interest in the game. i just need to get some good matches in online and i'll show you the vids.
 
Thanks, I'll need it. I'm generally solid, but my tourney track record outside meaningless local crap has been in the dumps. I think for awhile, up until now... I have been playing SC4 via SC5, and that style just can't cut it anymore. I've done some pretty hardcore match up training lately and some rethinking on my approach to matches, hopefully I can rep Leixia well this time around.

If anything hopefully I'll get some money matches recorded.
 
Natsu huh? Imo that matchup is more comfortable for Leixia. But of course, player ability is taken into account as well.
 
His specialty is JG'ing everything into A:6, I can certainly bait it. Player skill will certainly be the deciding factor, not the matchup.
 
Jimmy Choi made it to quarterfinals playing Leixia and Tira.

Also,
When Kayane switched to Leixia when playing Fuudo I was hoping for an epic win. Oh well.
 
the japanese leixia KBO made it out of pools and i beat him in losers quarterfinals.

leixia v natsu is anything but comfortable for leixia.

I was forced to change my play style entirely. Leixia vs Natsu is very bad match up for Leixia because of the same reason Leixia vs Cervy is a bad match up for him.
