Well I dont really make that many OC's and I spend most of my time making recreations. I want more "Sexy but dangerous" faces, and I've decided the best thing is face 3 with face paint. For every character I've remade, its always been between faces 1 and 2 and 3, and sometimes 11 because its a good one too. But I remake characters that are supposed to be distinct, but when I remake them, they all have the same faces. Its just not that good (Also, 11 female faces and 20-something male faces isn't very fair)
 
Hm....I wish SCV had more special equipment slots >:( same for stickers >:( AND I HATE IT THAT YOU CAN ONLY USE A LIMITED AMOUNT OF THE NORMAL STICKERS. IT PISSES ME OFF EVERY TIME.

The face thing made me cringe a little :o

Ugh yes. Sticker limit is awful and Special equipment limit even more so (Well, think of what we'd be fighting online. A literal orb made of thunder god drums T_T)

Personally, I feel like there are more decent female faces than male, mainly because half of those male faces are clones of others but with different facial hair. They may as well have properly kicked us in the balls and labelled them "alpha male face 4" and "male face 4 omega".

I guess I'm lucky that I make originals because a lot of the female faces can be made to look alright with subtle face paint. And a couple of the faces will suddenly make sense when you change your character's skin colour to something significantly darker.

There's another face that looks less ridiculous on black women, so I do kinda like that they gave us those faces.

But yes, I do agree that we need a lot more faces.

Edit: yep, couldn't agree more about the sticker limit. I don't want the giant stickers, I want more than six little ones! I can understand the special equipment limit (as much as I want more than three slots), but I can't see what's wrong with having shitloads of stickers on a CaS. And why not let us change length and width individually?

Truee....But something else that really annoys me is the fact we can only use the Character Pack special item only in SLOT 1 WTF. Why cant we use two of them? :(

But I have been making more and more originals the more I play. I started out with 3p exclusively (My first 3p's were so bad, like how did I make something that bad D:), but then I started making remakes of other characters. I've started making some OC's because even though I don't enter in CaS contests, I like to challenge myself by making something I COULD enter. Granted, I have no creativity whatsoever in things like stickers and special equipment, and I just sit there thinking of a good color scheme for a character, I still think I'm getting better and better by challenging myself. And then with DLC, my creations have started becoming better also. Gradually I think I'm becoming a pretty good character maker-person :P

Yeah, I've noticed you commenting in the contests. You should enter some time, even if you don't get any votes, it's totally worth it.

I'm not massively creative either, but plagiarism trial and error is your friend ;D

My problem is I have pretty bad lighting in my living room and I can't take very good photos at all of my 360. I really freaking wish there was some way to screenshot characters :(

Or a capture card, I suppose that's probably the cheaper option...
 
Since this is now CAS General, I will tell what takes up my slots: character edits. I have not made one single original creation other than copying the Devil Jin recipe on the SC Wiki and adding the DLC equipment to it.

Now here are the costumes I've made for each character. Regular characters get 2 costumes, while Aeon and mimics get only 1 (for Aeon it's because you can't equip anything). Ezio and Dampierre don't get any because thumbnail only.

Patroklos: Alpha colors, Western schoolboy outfit
Z.W.E.I.: Full werewolf, cowboy drifter
Leixia: Seong Mi-Na, XiaoyuXiba
Natsu: Japanese schoolgirl w/swimsuit underneath, Asuka

Pyrrha: Omega, Western schoolgirl outfit
Siegfried: Legendary Souls recolor for P1, Ancient Armor with old hairstyle underneath

Xiba: Kilik SC2 1P, tennis outfit
Ivy: Dominatrix (Marveilleuse gear), no 2nd costume yet
Cervantes: Legendary Souls recolor for P2, classic SC colors for P1

I have several themed files for my CAS. Not all of them are full yet but two or three are:

My main file is full and has my 20 "Valkyrie" characters, some with three outfits, most with two.
Secondly its an Einherjar file, with the Valkyries Lenneth, Hrist and Silmeria and the rest is full of
"Old warrior" themed male and female original creations.
Third and Fourth are conversions from various anime and games, neither one totally full yet.
Fifth and Sixth are completely original characters. One is full, the other's about halfway.
Last is a file of nothing but random, weird joke characters I made. Nothing rude, but
like a Rainbow skeleton named "Grateful Dead", Dark Helmet from Spaceballs, most of the cast
of Star Wars redone as women, etc. That one is always filling and emptying as the jokes wear off.

I havent done her but looking at a picture of Phyress, I probably will now lol. And I play on Xbox, so I can't do pictures.
 
As for faces, I only use the first two on females really. The first for very young ones and the second for the rest. I don't mind doing that, if you look at a lot of anime, the faces are all the same, just framed with different hair, eye colors and such, and expressions. For the guys, of course there are more faces- most of them are the same face repeated with different beard styles.
