You have a very informative and entertaining site here! It's always interesting how different walks of life view the same thing- in this case, "SC V". My view is from that of a horribly casual player. I generally don't get into fighting games, I have the reaction time of frozen mud, and about the same attention span. So what does SC V have for me? 1st off, its seems as if the programmers have a great sense of humor. There are some hilarious possibilities within the SC V environment. "Creation" is a kick to mess with. The fact that you can build just about any person and then animate him/her with the soul of any of the other characters is what got me hooked. The move set for each person has its own little "gifts" and quirks.... I could go on, but you get where I'm going with this. It's MUCH more than just a fighting game.
To show my lack of skill and cunning, when my son convinced me to play him, I really didn't care WHICH character I chose, I was going to button-mash and lose. So I chose Xiba. Why? Simply because when he gets thrown over the side, he yells, "Fuuuuuuu.......!" which I identify with. I pretty much would do the same thing, after getting thrown into oblivion. So if you see a fat old guy wearing a Dr. Suess hat and black coat online using "Button Mash" strategy.... that's ME, saying in my own way,
"Hi! Thanks for playing, and thanks for giving me a few seconds before throwing me over the side!" (Fuuuuuuuuu....!!)
