Most Esteemed One-Shot Contest Thread.

My vote goes to Quinion's SERVOntes. I just love how you made the pants and due to the mask it really looks like a soulless robot.

This is really though to vote on...

I'm gonna go with NeclordX's robot Cervy. I would have voted for chobek's Amy, but that wasn't an actual entry. Onyx's robot Nightmare and Quinion's SERVOntes were also pretty neat.

Damn, I had a hard time choosing between Quinion and NeclordX. While Quinion's entry is beautifully made - every part is used so well to achieve an overall creepy, soulless image (which is very fitting for Cervantes since he used to be a zombie in previous games), yet there is something unmistakably badass about Neclord's entry that really grabbed me from the second I saw it.

I think, just based on my initial reaction to seeing it, I'm gonna have to say that my favourite cyber-Cervy was Neclord's. So um, yeah, another vote for NeclordX.

Edit: forgot to say, Chobek's robotic Amy was beautiful. You have really great taste.

btw, here's the edit I had which seemed to fit with the contest, but I chose not to enter since she somehow doesn't seem complete and I don't have my PS3 atm to edit her:

My vote goes to Quinion. I feel it's no contest (though, it would be if Chobek's Amy was an entry :o). I do love Neclord's brain case but the colors just don't do it for me - they are default. :(

I really wanted to enter this one. I was working on an Armored Core-inspired Omega as an entry, but I kept on getting frustrated with my results. Oh, well. 2bad2sad. However, I'm very pleased to see a lot of solid entries this round. In fact, there are so many good ideas distributed across all the entries that I wish I could take the good parts from each and put them all into one.

That said, my vote goes to Limit9999 for Cyber Raph. It has a little bit of that MGR:R Raiden going on, which is awesome. With a couple tweaks and some clean up, it could be something really special.

A low number of votes (or none at all) isn't a reflection of a bad CaS, it's a reflection of the quality of entrants in this competition. Nightware was very creative but unfortunately it got slightly overshadowed by the sheer awesomeness of a couple of other entries and we only get one vote :/
Don't be discouraged though.

OK... it's a tie .... what do we do now... ???????????

I am thinking of a # between 1 and 10..... no that won't work....
dual leadership on the next contest?
lightning round?
pull in someone else to vote and break the tie?
have both winners post their new idea... and vote for the best new idea???
Help!
.................
Seriously though, I know from the voting it seems like there were only two strong entries... but I really didn't see it that way... I hope no one really feels bad about not getting a vote ... these contests can be fickle... there were entries that I found thrilling ,and/or beautiful ...and/or fun that just didn't get my vote because of the criteria of the contest.(stupid thoughts like hmmm that seems more like a cyborg than a robot....)
However
All of the creations will be stored fondly in my memory banks... I mean brain.
