The Legend of Zenon: The Series!

So here's the deal: I've had this little story with my characters for a while now, so I decided to plug in some composite cables into my computer and turn it into a video series. The result is basically KokoYoshi's misfortune comics in video format. I'm not very experienced at making this kind of content, so suggestions are welcome!

I'll make about five to seven introduction episodes in SCIV and then jump into the current storyline in SCV. And just like Koko Yoshi, just PM me if you want your character featured in one of these. I hope you enjoy this project!

I actually loved it.

Five minutes is a good episode time to have, as it's immediate, long enough to be interesting, but short enough to not be intrusive into one's day.
The story is certainly interesting. Nothing too remarkable at the minute but by no means un-enjoyable, a very strong foundation. I like where it's going, it's easy to follow (for now at least) and it isn't trying to be something it's not. So that's all a bonus at the minute.

The only downsides are that the camera often skips about too much, especially when one character is speaking, as it's hard to focus on. On top of that, the dialogue was a bit hammy at times, but I'm guessing that's not massively your strength?

For the most part though, it was well-edited, engaging and intriguing. I imagine it took a fair chunk of time to make, so I only hope you don't bite off more than you can chew.

haha, Thanks for the kind words, Le_Bello. I did notice the dialogue was a bit heavy and confusing when watching it again, but this first episode was more of an experiment than anything else. The camera is a bit confusing for me, but I've been playing around with it and I think I understand it better now. If there's something I learned from the making of this video is that I should script the entire thing before capturing it, as I ran out of dialogue sequences between Zenon and Syria and had to improvise a little. So you can expect much better camera work and dialogue the next episode!

And I'm not sure if you noticed, but a little something is building up at the end of the chapter. I plan on continuing this and merging the two storylines together after a few episodes.

You're very welcome! Kind words are the least I can give someone for free entertainment after all. In fact is all I have! Hehe.

But, apologies as I was unclear. I didn't mean the dialogue was confusing, so much as I meant that often it didn't seem worded right? Like, it felt uncomfortable, not as someone would normally speak? I can't really explain it I'm afraid, but the best advice I can give is to read your lines aloud as though the were the character saying them. Do they sound natural, or strained and robotic? Just a thought.

My only nitpick is SCV's camera is hella annoying as you should know. It's tough as it is to get great shots unlike SCIV.


However I KokoYoshi who was inspired by skytoast ended up inspiring Norik who made his own little tale?! I'm quite honored. Very well, I'll share some of my characters to make the story interesting as gratitude.

I may need to make a few of them fit in your story as cameos. Pocky Yoshi and Shogi won't cameo sadly. I'm thinking a small cameo from these following characters(may subject to change):

Disco Jim travels everywhere because he's sexy and does disco the best.
Ouka Kimura if your characters are in Japan. Then she'll cameo.
Horus will be traveling anywhere to acquire anything to achieve absolute power.
Arnora Frigard if your characters are in Europe. Then she'll cameo.
Baichu if you happen to be anywhere besides Europe or Japan. Then he'll show up.
Fujo if your characters are in Europe. Then she'll cameo.


Just let me know which ones you want to cameo and I'll help make them fit. Or request the ones you want to cameo except Pocky Yoshi and Shogi.
