This place is boring. I want to liven it up with move discussion, etc, but I'm not sure where to begin that, so instead I will share this:

3K = 15 damage
3[K] = 10

No other apparent differences.

Now please hijack this thread into something more interesting/useful.

That 3K stuff is interesting. When i do 3[K] and go to Guard its unsafe, -13. I do the Input like 3[KG], hold both buttons. 3K is -7~-8.

Hmmm, less Damage, unsafe. Same Soul gauge Damage aka zero Damage.

Cant find pros. somebody else?

I dont have any new stuff, too. Im every day in Training Mod searchin for new Cervy Stuff, but i cant find usefull new tools. Guess the instant Throw was one lucky Shot.

But i start appreciating 6A+B more and more. +5 on Hit. Good for some Throw Mixups. Frames like his old 22_88B from SC2.

And btw i have a typewriters clamp from iGDR.
 
Wait since when can u do :3::Kh: never saw that in move list.

as for something new,

:3::B: CH ~ :9::Bh:+:Kh: rings out if cervantes back is to the edge.

:6::B::B: tracks some air control except for right and backwards right ofcourse

:4::2::1::kB:,:B: imho sucks cause u can just block low and punish cervantes for missing

Funny how Cervantes new stuns :4::Ah: or :4::A: CH can be seen coming dont see alot, actually haven't seen a match where this is used and :2::1::4::6::B:+:K: the teleport messes up and does not go behind the opponent.

I actually us 4A and 4[A] a decent amount as anti-step and post-GI tools, respectively.

What's the damage on 6A+B, by the by? And is it safe?

2nd hit of 6a+b,b is unsafe even on JF. I somehow got into a bad habit of using this move, it's also pretty slow. Not sure what the damage is though.
 
I know about the second hit being unsafe, but I am thinking perhaps 6A+B, if it does give +5, might be a good mid poke. I'll have to play around with it a bit. Kinda hard to beat 3K, though...
 
6A+B is absolutely safe.

If you wanna test it, 6A+B on Block ~AA clashes with 3B, i19-i13---> -6 on Block.

For the Hitstun: 6A+B on Hit ~4A clashes with 6K, i19-i14----> +5 on Hit.


I dont see it as a alternative to 3K, 6A+B is i19, just as 3B.

Its slower, but safe and good Frames on Hit, 3K is a fast Poke which is only +2. Both have their preferences.

The Damage is pretty wack if you just go for the first Hit. 6A+B is 14, 6A+BB is 34, the JF is 44. hitchecking is important for that one, but really hard, cause you gotta be quick for the JF. I use it more for the Frames right now. Natural Combo on Hit, no counter needed.

EDIT: Dont know whether KowTow told you, but next time you face a Kilik, b2 catches him out of Asura for a very big timeframe, not GIable by Asura though its Mid. +3 On Hit, -7 on Block, short Recovery.
