There is a Lexia that is fucking amazing on XBL. This guy is your type of player, very technical, and very risk-free. During a recent match we had I made sure to train him about my favorite choice near the ring edge, and also my favorite choice after getting a prep entry.
I forced him to a ring edge and telegraphed a SE entry. It was two rounds each, and we were both on guts, or pretty much, and I went for Prep A+B. It landed - I won.
It was a very close fight, we both fought better than you ever can Bojack (it was tasty,) and I went for the low for the first and only time in the match just as he was panicking and thinking over his options.
The mind-games were simple. Prep A+B looks similar to Prep SE to anyone who plays fast and loose with their reactions, and my choice from earlier in the fight made it seem to him that a ring-out is what I wanted to go for.
This player, that is significantly better than you and regularly gives me a spankin', got caught out by a move you no-doubt can guard in training mode with your eyes shut.
This is a single example of how I use Prep A+B, I have about 3-4 other scenarios I throw it out on. I am deeply sorry if my success with the move offends you, but I can understand why it does. Most players at lower levels of skill/mind-games don't counter play. They throw out what has a statistically higher chance of landing, and wont be punished too hard if it doesn't. It's rock-paper-scissors with range being one of very few factors.
Three things in life are certain;
Death, Taxes and the inability of poor players to understand that what they can't effectively use still has effective uses.
