Just want to say that all 4 FT10's were only Edge Master Vs Algol! So I'm actually proud of some of these scores considering I'm using the most difficult character in the game!

Pretty sure the second last one was 10-9 instead of 10-7. The 10-4 was bad luck on my part since I was getting unlucky with the characters Edge Master was choosing, so I gotta work on my luck by focusing on improving the characters I'm weak with.

Regardless, considering Algol is my weakest character and the one character I have no knowledge about (since EM doesn't use his style) I'm simply glad to be gaining experience against him in case I fight one at NEC!

So ggs but don't think these results are definitive proof of player skill! That's what tournaments are for, and why I want the tournament scene here revived!

Actually, tournaments don't prove who is better skilled. Some people take a while to get comfortable before they actually start playing their best, hence they don't do well at tournaments.
Thats EXACTLY why tournaments are sooo awsome. Its based on so many random variables. Seed positions, LUCCCKKK and moods etc.
Sometimes you see a random scrub who would usually get 10-0, end up beating an elite player at tournaments. It happens allll the time.

First to 10's are what really defines a player's skill and who is better. Hence why after tournaments, you see the top players duke it out in first to 10's to see who is really the best. Daigo, Mago, Infiltration etc etc.

Good fun games last night. Lets do it again. Im free from 2p.m onwards and the remainder of the week as well.
Ill be at A&C from now on every wednesday as Im getting back into streets. Mondays as well!

The reason I believe tournaments are more about skill, is because I feel things like being able to win under immense pressure, and having a short amount of time to adapt to your opponent, are all part of the "whole package" of what makes someone a skilled player.

A ft10 with nothing on the line has no pressure, so while I do try to win I also give myself the opportunity to experiment on what things work and what don't. In a tournament I can't really do that, since its 100% about winning.

Chu-Fye - I've been running? From What? Seems like you going to OOF house has made you delusional. I proved ast time you're not on my level. But then again I dont know what you consider to be "serious" matches.

OOF - Whoa dude. Dude who talks about other peoples excuses has a ROLODEX of them ready. For playing against Chu-Fye, who wasn't even using his main. Sadd. You really need to stop hiding under this veil of "I will make Vader Broken, I will make Dampierre viable, I will use EM in tourneys". You come with excuses after every loss, when you can just pick a main, and actually start winning. Maybe you truly can't use any character in the game, and this is you cop out. Sad Day.

As For Tournament vs FT10 vs MM. They ALL indicate who is the better player. There is no way someone can say Tourney matches Dont matter. 1. Pressure 2. Limited Time to Win. 3. Different Opponents. etc. FT10 are nice, but it also means you would have needed that many more matches to "win". Would the result have been the same if it were a FT5?

Vints - You're the only person that will lose to someone many times,, and on the first chance you get to beat them, you declare victory and feel like you accomplished something. Thats pretty Sadd. Again, someone that needs to be delusional about the game since they don't have their "main." Also this Character vs Player thing is getting out of hand. Character (Tiers) only matter when the two players are of directly equal skill value. If not, its all player. To think its the character, is to set yourself up for Loss.

ie. Zane's ZWEI beat RTD Mitsu. Jimbos Raph Beat Mambas Phyrra. Decopons Tira beat everyone everything.

I swear I impart such knowledge to you guys, but always on deaf ears.

Dam Sifi! After all his talk, after you exposed him on the forums, and now after exposing his supposed "skill" this guy still making some kind of excuse saying that it doesn't matter. Well I guess you have to be delusional if you can't face reality. White matter vs Grey matter.

It also funny that (by his own admission) you didn't even use your main, you don't have a PS3/Xbox to train for SC, and yet you kicked his ass. It a waste of time to try and even acknowledge this guy.


Anyways Friday July 26 or Saturday July 27 I'll have time off so I want to uses for some SC battles and to discuss who's the most evil.
 
I like how the fact that Chu wasn't using his main is taken into account, but the fact that I wasn't using my main isn't. Lol

Anyways the more I play Algol the better I'll understand how to fight him and the better the scores will be going I my favor! In the mean time I care more about improving for NEC more than anything else. If you really want to prove your shit against me then let's run a tourney or a money match! Otherwise upping my game for NEC IS MY MAIN FOCUS!

LOL! Eli you talk a lot and it will be fun exposing you for your weak skills. I didn't drop Damp, far from it. EM is just the next stepping stone to push me to the absolute skill level. If I truly cared only about winning and not improving, then I would just stick to Damp!

Chu Fye is coming over again for 4pm, let's see how things go! While me and him level each other up for NEC, you can keep talking crap on the forums! I'm sure that typing shit on the forum will definitely prepare you for NEC! lol

Seriously Eli, I suggest you practice if you plan to go to NEC, maybe you will finally place well in a major tournament. lol
