I'm trying to look for something to use for protection. I've been seeing a lot of people posting up virus links on youtube & F-Book lately (so many assholes posting viruses). I was thinking about buying some virus protection at a store, then again I'm looking around for websites also. What do you guys use? What is the best in your opinion? Is their such thing as a "Best protection in the world"? & Is store bought better then Website download? If its a website download protection, where do I find it? If it's store bought, I'm pretty sure I can find that on my own.

Thanks GAIZ n.n

Get this^

I work for them, trust me... that's all you need. Besides, viruses should be the least of the general public's concerns now a days. The bigger threat currently is identity theft. But there you go, all in one suite.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials. It works quite well and doesn't delete your downloads like Norton. I have a friend that had Norton and it kept deleting a patch he was downloading for a game.

That's fucked up, cause I was thinking about getting Norton. I was looking towards Malwarebytes, but I heard someone say that it gives viruses. I'm not sure if that's true. Someone said that Malware deleted their whole pc. Kinda like a Back-up but all the way to the beginning where the PC thinks it's never been used at all. I know AVG does that; they used to be my PC protection, but not anymore cause of that recent bullshit AVG did.

Just curious: What's this Microsoft Security Essentials? Is it a website download or store bought thingy?

Microsoft Security Essentials is the ONLY antivirus program you should have installed.

If you wish, you can use programs like CCleaner as supplemental cleaners, but they are not AV programs. DO NOT under any circumstances install any of that other crap. Especially anything Norton or McAfee. Because of how Windows 7 handles it's ring protection, the only way for AV programs to work (besides Microsoft Security Essentials) is to become viruses themselves.

What they do is hook into the same places a virus would, and act as a virus holding the ground. So if another virus comes along, they are already there to stop it. The problem with this is that the hit on performance these programs do is essentially the same, if not worse than what the viruses would do.

I don't even want to know how that happened. Lol
I know right, were talkin pneumonia mixed with diarrhea, vomit, blood, hrt burn, dizziness, & lightheaded, type of virus. It's a good thing my PC's cured & clean now. Must of been screamin a bloody murder.

I did a rescan & caught nothing. NOICE! MSE must be really pro for people to talk good things about it. I heard a lot of bad shit about others. We'll see if I don't get screwed like AVG did to me.

Use Norton. Imagine you were sitting in your house and looking out the window. You see a bunch of people trying to rob your house to get at all your sweg, but they can't even break the windows because you used your sweg to protect them. That's fucking Norton

I use AVG free, Advanced system care pro, and Spybot search and destroy. (Advanced system care isn't a virus scanner, it is a pc optimizer. But it has a malware scanner in it.)

That's not Norton. Imagine you were sitting in your house and looking out the window, you see a bunch of people trying to rob your house to get ask your "sweg", but they can't even break your Windows because your Windows have been replaced by a wall of robotic dildos. Then you realise these dildos are currently fucking you in the ass. That's fucking Norton.
