Unless brucege and Pas come back with a lot of long reviews and background stories, i won't make it ! (yes, that is a **wink** hehe, awesome !)

PS : i am not under the influence of any drugs writing this (except paracetamol and ibuprofene but that doesn't count right :o)

Kabutomushi does excite me a bit. I really like it since I can see Yoshimitsu himself wearing the kabuto. I would ask the formula for the helmet only, but I don't know how it'd look on Yoshimitsu.

That CaS your son made was super cute too and very creative XD Looks like you have someone to carry the torch ;)

I'll see what i can do, but i doubt it would look good on any normally proportioned CAS, since it is as bulky as it gets and goes with the bulky design...
I will still have to experiment on this one though, as i think it has potential to bring out the armored bettle flair even more...

let the flu hold on a little longer...

Ok, this is the second CAS of him to strike me silly, so just for you in case you never saw it, here is the first one : it is called "le cuistot" (now i know you know your french :) and his specialty is fried egg (i got the strange feeling i posted thisnot so long before tho, erm, alzheimer maybe...)

The idea was to make a half angelic, half corrupt CAS, so hence i tried to mix golden armor with touches of darkness and black, and on the chest piece i wanted a cross that looks like a sword, alone it was sticking out too much on the bare chestpiece, so i needed some kind of emblem that would give it more depth, hence the crest that has bump mapping properties and adds a layer of details that fits to the overall knightly demonic angel theme.
Note that i used the same crest inverted to add some subtle depth to the hood, that would have looked a bit too crude all in white. And black, white and gold work very well together of course.

I may add i used rather bright hues and colors on this one, because it served a purpose, which is to exacerbate the stage lighting effect and give him the proper eerie glow as you can tell from some of the pics, both in darker or lighter stages...

The starting point of this design was to make good use of a hood i don't think i have ever used on a CAS before, believe me or not, there are still a number of pieces i never used in any of my "souls", and it is a very good way for me to keep being creative. A word of advice : starting with a unique looking piece of equipment that looks weird or downright silly is always the key to great designs, as long as you get a fresh use for it...then the rest of the design usually falls nicely into place...
