My SCV Original CAS

Yes, Brucege is always inside your brain Gauntlet, like he was inside mine, a review mentalist of sorts.
Anyways, i have been busy elsewhere and very rarely on this board, but i value how much your CAS have improved over time since my original post in your thread.

I really like the last bunch, still nothing has me completely sold on the color scheme...i'd rather have softer more realistic colors on your OCs, the DW recreations are more to my liking, or maybe you should post in-game pics...

still lurking, once in a while, but still no WOW (from me at least), you'll get there, i know, also work on the strength of your design theme somehow...when you make something i have never seen nor fiddled with, something that screams badass and is coherent and reallllllly fresh and original, i know you will have won me over, until then, practice and create young padawan, seeing that you still share my passion.

Besides, Brucege, your latest work is great as well, just too lazy to post everywhere, i have real life issues to take care of, but know that you aren't forgotten bro :)

I still managed to use some free time to complete a very special project, 100% soulcalibur related, i will keep you posted whenever it is ready...

Now go back to the drawing board, you fools ! :P

@VILARCANE, old friend, life tends to distract us from the things that really matter (*cough* CaS), but stop by once in awhile, and you'll always find a warm welcome.

Liu Bei: The grey and green color scheme is quite handsome, and the cloudy pattern provides a nice accent. I can't say I'm completely convinced by the pocket sticker placement, but it's still an interesting idea. The decorations in the hair are cool. I would have preferred to place them between the hair bun and the head rather than directly into the hair bun, but it still looks great. I also like how you faded the leaf and the shoulder armor with gradient patterns to age them.

Cao Cao: The strongest CaS of the batch. I love the bold colors on this one. Very fitting for a cocky emperor. You did a good job making that Western-looking Cervy coat look Asian with stickers, patterns, and accessories. The little hair and beard extensions also add alotta personality. The only thing I would add is a stripy pattern to the horn to make it look more like hair.

Sun Jian: He doesn't look particularly Chinese, but he is well crafted. He's got lotsa elaborate patterns and bling, like the extra clothing layer on the waist made by a pocket sticker and the wings and fur lining on the cape.

Lu Bu: I like the overall powerful, evil look to him. This matches his traditional portrayal as a powerful warrior and a major asshole. The demon shoulders, angry face, and epic eyebrows are especially appropriate here. The sticker work on the back of the skirt is interesting, but I find that the phoenix sticker kinda drags the viewer's attention downwards a little too strongly. If possible, I recommend elevating it a bit. I'd also close the gap between the feathers of strength on his head.

My one suggestion is that you experiment more with SpecEq. Rather than have multiple, isolated SpecEq, combine them to form entirely new hats or weapons. Here's an example from my gallery:

Anyways, great Chinese warrior CaS! Keep up the good work.

I love what you did to give cao cao to give apperance of having a chest plate under the jacket, but your gold colors are not consistant. Lu bu is pretty awesome I really like that one.
