Since when was playing SoulCalibur V Online no longer a game? Since when did playing online itself become something so serious as if lives depends on it? I was never told that if I played SoulCalibur online simply just because that's what I like to do is a stupid reason. But that is what every player I've been running into recently has been treating it non-stop as if all manners of bad things is going to happen if things don't go their way. How can anyone expect things to go their way at all? The most anyone SHOULD expect is to be able to play. That's it! Just play! No matter what happens. It's okay to do your best all the time because that's what makes it fun. Me personally, I think the ONE thing everyone should be worried about is the connection... but again, that's just ONE thing. What IS SoulCalibur V online anyway? Nobody is treating it like it's a game so... it can't be a game. I hear so many players yelling and making threats to so many other players (myself included) either when they lose or battle against a player who comes close (it's usually when they lose). What hurts me the most is that some of my own friends on my psn and even some of YOU who happens to have an account here on 8wayrun are making too big of a deal over something that everyone should enjoy because of what it is. A game.

But no! It's not a game right? If it was, then you'll be letting me play too! What the hell is SCV online? Did I buy the game for the wrong reasons? Because my reasons for buying the game was to experience it to it's limits and to battle with you guys. But no! Those are stupid reasons right? It doesn't matter what I do. When it comes to online, y'all just don't want me around do y'all? Y'all just love to make the sign "You have been removed from this room." appear on my screen. Is there any reason for this? Will the answer to that reason be the same answer to why SCV online isn't a game? I've never even called myself a good player. Just a player who is okay at the game. Any wise player would know that being a good player doesn't only go by how well you play. Even the grand champion of SoulCalibur V may not be considered a good player. Don't get me wrong. I've seen very good players here and there and the best ones I've ever seen doesn't even have an account here on 8wayrun. Those were mostly the players who treats SCV online for what it REALLY is. Now all there's left are players who has forgotten what playing games like SCV online is all about!

What is it? No one can deal with their losses? Am I the only one who can? So many players treat it as though they can never play again if they lose. I necessarily can't even say that because even those who wins does the exact same. Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm just someone every player doesn't want to be around. A player can destroy me in matches all day. I DON'T GIVE A JACK! Even if it's the other way around. I DON'T GIVE A JACK! Overkill Me, Ring Me Out, Teabag My Character. I DON'T GIVE A JACK!!! AS LONG AS I PLAY!!!!!! I guess anyone who loses must think I'm cheating. Anyone who wins must think I'm not good enough and rather than giving me the opportunity to become better or even adapt, they just figured they'll remove me and keep me away. I can only say that if I were to make a huge deal out of something that I can only navigate through a tv screen, I wouldn't even be myself. I can only imagine what it would be like if all of this was in board games and everyone had to literally sit next to each other. I'd be scared out of my mind. SoulCalibur V Online is not a game then. It's not fun to share what I know about characters and moves to other players online am I right? It's not fun to show off my creations and have you share yours with me am I right? With all of this, I can finally say that I've officially become the best player online. To get to a point that all players would want to do is remove you from their session would mean you are the most feared player above all. Being the most feared usually means you are the mightiest.

I expected it to be a lot harder than that but... it was easy.

Players that get super serious and rage exist in all games. The people with a good competitive spirit tend to stay in private lobbies because of what you are saying. Alternatively, they have moved on to newer games.

I know. But it's the only thing I have now. Fun and competition is constantly being denied to me and I still don't know why.
Online isn't always fair, and you're denying your own fun. Sore losers can either redeem themselves or continue to suck. Why should a sore loser dictate what you want to do? Thus, why waste time on them?

The main problem starts with you, CaptainBoomz.

How else should I take it if I'm being kicked out of every single session I go into? And I do mean EVERY session... no matter what kind it is or who's hosting it. Should I retire? I've tried hosting, no one ever joins... but if so, it is always brief. No one really plays ranked matches.

Don't sell yourself short and stop worrying about trivial stuff. Come on now, you're playing a video game. What's more important? Doing what you think is fun, or worrying about what everyone thinks?

If you're the latter, no wonder why you're bitter and confused right now. I say this out of experience: You can't please everyone, and you can't force your ideals on them. People will be people. Even some good players forget the absolute rule of video games: play to win and have fun.

Don't tell me you're one of those kind of players. Then fighting you would be insulting.

It's what everyone DOES. Not what everyone thinks. Going to a place and being disliked is inevitable. I understand that. But in my case, I go to a place and I get thrown out of a window like Axel Foley in beverly hills cop. I want to battle online. But no one will let me battle them.

Again. Life isn't always fair, buddy. I don't know about you, but is it really worth the time to worry about the persecutions done to you? People will always find something to hate on if you're successful at something. Rather than to cry over spilled milk, just do what you can. What you're going through pales in comparison to other people with legit problems.

Ok fine. I'll shut up and quit. That's basically what you're telling me right? It was good knowing you all.
