I heard Akuma is actually going to be integrated into the story of Tekken 7. That got me thinking, should the guest of SCVI be officially part of the story, making it a crossover in the truest sense of the word?
 
Playing the SF5 alpha made me come back and check in to see if there was any news about SC6. I guess not, which makes me sad. SF is so fundamentally different that it just doesn't feel right.
 
I was checking back on the history of SCV.
The first 'big' hint that was dropped by Daishi is this:

16 days before the announcement.
You can say that the 'SC is back!' comment was also a big hint, but so was the poll."For the future of Soulcalibur".
Anywhos, i say all this to say that an announcement in New Years isn't against all odds. A SoulCalibur VI announcement to kick off the new year would be amazing.


It's either that or the first 3 months of 2016, i think.


Now back to counting the seconds as they pass by...
 
I don't know about that, it was mainly just advertising new stuff for LS while the comments were filled with anger.
 
How long do you guys think this has been in development? I'd like to think they've been working on it since Hoshino took charge, so that way we don't get a rushed product upon release. If it comes out in late 2016 next year (at the earliest) that means it will have been developed for about three years, which seems about right (since SCV was made in just over a year).
 
Nice though! Anything with a countdown and at Bandai Namco logo next to it is enough to get me hype!

But i really doubt this is going to be SCVI. It is not THAT popular to have a teaser site with countdown. But I'm still hoping for SC nonetheless.

What else do you think it could be? It's not like Namco has any popular fighters that isn't SC and is not named "Tekken", and I don't know what else is left to announce from them.

I have no idea what can this be, i guess this message can clear things out a bit. There is always a possibility that this is just a new IP, or a console port of Tekken 7, or finally something about Tekken X StreetFighter.
