To Nuez and everyone else - here is how the Bar Pay Per Views work

When a bar or similar place of business signs up for cable service, they get a different deal than residential cable. With a UFC Pay Per View costing around 40 dollars for a residential box, it would make no business sense for UFC to let non residential boxes order a Pay Per View unless they pay more. So, commercial cable carriers usually get charged way more for a PPV (a few thousand bucks, some organizations charge by seating capacity, etc), the bars, in turn, use these pay per views as a means of drawing people in.


I found a bar that orders all UFC pay per views and makes events out of them. There is usually a cover charge to get in, but the cover charge starts getting enforced at 10 o clock, so i usually show up at 8:30 or 9 to drink for an hour beforehand to avoid the cover charge.

Talked to Nuez, i misunderstood him - he already found a place in BK that can order it, so ill swing by papys area around 8 30 ish
 
Serge don't forget sometimes the Playwright adds the cover charge onto the tab anyway, that's what those "miscellaneous item" charges were on that one bill we got. Probably depends on how much of a bitch the waitress is, haha.
 
Ok, posting this here:

I have 4 passes for Pacha on February 6th (Friday) for Bad Boy Bill.
The passes are free admission before midnight for the ticketholder + 1 guest.

A reminder for those who aren't aware, Pacha is like a 4 floor mega club, it's hot as fuck in the good way in there, and it's also 21+. I can not sneak in minors into Pacha. My wordcraft is not that strong.

The dress code is no work boots, I haven't had problems wearing a t-shirt and good jeans but I also have tits so that works in my favor. I'd wear a collared shirt if you're a guy. The drinks get expensive but if my bartender is still present in Pacha (haven't been there since NYE 2008), our drinks will be strong as fuck.

Anyway this is just the notice so far. I've offered 1 ticket to Serge, 1 ticket will be for Fox and I, and I have 2 more left theoretically but anything can happen.
 
I'm really new here and I'm looking for people to play this game offline with. I don't really know how or where to start. Cha cha told me to post here since i live in NYC. Thanks in advance - Saudade

Most of the offline sessions these days are being held at Papy's apartment, where in NYC do you live?

Not a problem. It's also free on the Pacha website if you put yourself in on the guest list.

I need Serge or Fox to figure out where we're meeting beforehand. >_<
 
Ok so here's the debatable plan.

We're meeting in front of Serges place, at like 9:30. Maybe earlier if folks want to pregame. I wouldn't pregame too hard or else the bouncers are going to block your ass from getting in. We gotta take the A to 42nd and hike up, it's like an 11 minute walk. If party favors are needed I can see what I can do - get at me.

I want to be on the line to Pacha by 10:30 the very latest. It is shaping up to be a very male heavy group, and I want no problems getting all of us in. So far I have Fox/Myself, Serge/??, Nuez/Girlfriend, meaning I have 1 more ticket for 2 into Pacha, and everyone after that will need to put their name on the guest list.

Tips: Drinks in Pacha get expensive. If you pay with a credit card, they take out 20% gratuity, if you need to use the ATM, Pacha has some but it's an $8 ATM fee. Pacha has an extended liquor license since it is in an industrial district. Pacha does not close at 4 AM, and booze does not stop being served at 4 AM. I am a champion, I will be there until they kick me out. Pay for coat check - it's expensive, but if you don't you will regret it because you have nowhere to put your coats! Don't wear white shoes don't wear white shoes DO NOT WEAR WHITE SHOES, they will be black when you leave. Ladies who are attending, don't wear open toe - you will get your toes crushed. Wear comfortable footwear, get some Dr Scholls insoles going on, whatever.

YO... enjoy the club guys and girls... I work on fridays so i would never get to the city in time for something like that...
I havent been clubbing since my days in NC... So long ago...and soo sad....

Aw man! Events like these are like once a year, sometimes less. It's really odd that it's happening not around a holiday. Last time I got into Pacha for free I had to bring a toy with me as it was a toy drive around Christmas time.

It's a sign of the economy when they're letting people in for free like that.

I live in mostly staten island, but sometimes the bronx and manhattan. Is Papy's apartment like a venue or actually...Papy's apartment. I'll travel, i just want a steady group of people to play with. - Saudade
 
Papy's apartment is.. Papy's apartment! He lives in Park Slope.

Fox lives on Staten Island too, you guys should session.
 
I don't mind riding the van if there is a spot available. And I can also attempt to bring a second player along with me.

First of all I wanted to say that I'm not really impressed by your performance.

Secondly, it was the "Chandeleur" this week and we kinda missed it. In other words the "crepes day", so we decided we were gonna cook crepes one evening this week at the apartment. Why not do that before we all go to the Pacha ? Who's in ?

lol, good shit Papy. Soon you'll be like GSP.

If everyone else wants to do that same then I dont care. I would actually like to play sometime this week, mainly because I'm feeling rusty again.
