Soulcalibur VI DLC Discussion Thread

Personally the less cross over movesets the better. If we're going to have a cestus user give that character original moves.
 
But also if it’s under the namco umbrella it’s easier to have them return in future installments. It’s one of the reason I rather have “Tales of,” “Tekken,” “Xenosaga” series. Losing Ezio and even 2B in future installments is what kills me.
 
I'm of the opinion that Project Soul should do a massive crossover with characters from different franchises with Soul Calibur engine. Best way to bring the characters back without destroying the tone of Soul Calibur.
 
Guilty Gear would be an excellent choice. Even if it isn't a vs crossover. Baiken and Zas would be excellent trades. I would even like if Baiken would have the announcer give her introduction and epilogue like she recieves in GGXrd.

And since SC6's story is happening at the time before Raphael becomes a vampire, they better find other ways to differentiate Amy from him if true.

Unrelated, but due to the connectivity problems 1.10 had, I wouldn't be surprised if the patch and, by extension, 2B, gets further delayed.

Nope, she's out now by a regional loophole on the X1, lol. The update is already out, and so is 2B. (Nothing yet on PS4, and I assume Steam also has her either legitly or through the use of cheats/hacks, lol.)

As an Amy fan (and to a lesser extent, a Cassandra fan) I'm really hoping all of this overwhelming evidence is legit. I want everyone else to be happy too (with a season pass 2) but for now I have my fingers crossed for these two. Hopefully hope doesn't lead to disappointment this time.

On a lesser note, people have been really nasty to Amy and Cassandra fans online. I've seen the term 'waifu' thrown around quite a bit, alongside a bunch of unsavory accusations. I was CERTAIN Amy wasn't making it in for a long while, but I didn't go around attacking fans who wanted different characters. I respectfully voiced my desire to have Amy in the game, and my disappointment when I thought she wouldn't make it. I really wish I could expect the same from the rest of the fandom...

Waifu is just an image board culture word to signify a woman you're 100% committed and faithful to, your dream girl. It's endearment rather than an insult. It becomes and insult when you say waifu fag as in you're insufferable about it but in most context it's just a playful jab/part and parcel of image board culture. There is zero point getting upset about it because if you do you will get called it more.

The negative context you mentioned is the exact context I'm talking about. That being said, I don't want to harp on this too much. I wasn't getting upset, I was just giving a heads up, so that this board doesn't turn into another flame fest. I'd like things to remain civil here. Still, your feedback is appreciated.
 
I found out that 2B actually has specific dialogue with some characters. Pod 042 responds to Ivy, Cervantes, Nightmare, and Inferno as them having "unknown signatures," to which 2B states she will terminate. She also has one with Azwel, which made my jaw drop. Not just because she had one with him at all, but its actually related to Automata's story (to the point of possible spoilers)
Azwel: "You shall be sacrificed for the human race."
2B: "Of course. It's what we were made for."
She also has one against herself

It's amazing imo. Spamming taunts has the pod say something different each time. Also the item found victory pose is sick.
 
Vergeben is a fraud as usual. He only got a handful of leaks right but he also got a crapton of other leaks wrong as well. Double standards much? =3

And, yeah, I feel really bad for all the Amy and/or Raphael and Cassandra and/or Sophitia fans that got their mains back thanks to the leak. It's as bad as the Hwang and Li Long fanboys that whine and attack fans of their successors Maxi and Yun-Seong for really stupid reasons. It's disgusting. -_-
