1) armor vs armor was something I specifically brought up. I also said was redundant for Hilde and I would have preferred her princess dress.

2) I just said the kimonos were not identical.

I prefer more variety rather than slight variations but its likely her SC3 2p pants or her western SC4 2p will be returning.

What? I’m not aware of Hwang having any tattoos. He’s got the clean cut look on lock. If you mean his 2p from SoulCalibur I, I always thought that was some sort of war paint, not a tattoo. The tattoos are generally more colorful in this series. Him not having that in any other look leans towards it not being a tattoo, assuming that’s what you’re talking about.

Maxi being blonde and tanned in his alt is basically a meme, though, and isn’t really part of my point, I’m only getting at Setsuka having a 2p that became her canon appearance afterward, and no one else in the cast can claim this. I’m hoping that SoulCalibur VI addresses this in some way.
 
Rock and Setsuka have tattoos as well, though they seem like a 1-off cosmetic thing and not some enduring physical trait

Honestly, I think any future character announcements might be delayed anyways. Not due to tournament cancellations, but because of development on DLC being halted for now.

Also, it's sad to see EVO being cancelled like this. (｡•́︿•̀｡) At least they're still planning an online tournament?
 
Are you saying the boots would be baked into the pants? That would be a shame. A thing I noticed the other day that baffles me is that we still don’t have a decent armor selection, even for male characters. I thought about making Aeneas and Riese to honor that Twitter quiz the other day, and ultimately Riese is what made me rage quit, but I was depressed trying to create Aeneas’s rather basic look, that just shouldn’t be a thing that happens.
