If I were to paint a picture of you
All of those colors, the richest of hues
If I were to paint a picture of you
All of the colors will signify truth
A color doesn't lie, and truly
They tell me to use the colors of beauty
If I were to paint a picture of you
All of the colors would introduce
Introduction to a believed reality
Until then, you're a dreamed fantasy
If I were to paint a picture of you
All of the colors would be gorgeous, too
If I were to paint a picture of you
Those colors catch, or subdue
Capturing one's attention
Since the color is named perfection
If I were to paint this canvas
What colors could be imagined?
I struggle to find a matching
For the color of attraction
If I were to make you an artwork
I wouldn't know where to start first
If I were paint a picture of you
All of the colors would share textures of the moon
The textures symbolize that glow you have
and this picture should have that glow intact
If I were to finish my artwork for you
What does that leave for the future?
What if I paint a mural of us?
Or something that doesn't require a brush?
Like a song, or a poem, or an oath
Or maybe these words, for you, are enough
You used to play with Barbie dolls and building blocks
Now you play hard ball for a panty drop
You used to dress as a princess and love the smell of pink
now you're distressed, and reek of tainted stink
You used to open your eye's and see what was innocent
Now you open your thigh's just to buy a new Louie set.
You used to love the outdoors and absorb the sunlight
Now you're out at night, whoring if the money's right
You loved the way that your father used to pick you up
Now it's "daddy"- and no money gets you bruised up
You used to hold your parent's hands while crossing the street
Now you're strutting a dance on the corner with the other freaks
You went to school, and always impressed the teachers
Now you're giving head in the backseat of a beamer
You grew up a bit, and played sport's to keep busy
Now you throw up a bit, because you consider yourself filthy
You were so beautiful, and had all the men at your grasp
And you're still such a beauty, but only if the man gives you cash
You used to be smarter, and you still have that brain
You just need to find a larger strength in order to change
Tough it will be, paying no mind to the change of payment
But money isn't suffice for a sexual exchangement
And that money won't get you respect or peace
But that money can leave you dead on the street
You may feel alone, afraid and disgusted
But know I will care... with a care lacking judgement
Like
He's too caught up in a thought to progess
Processing thoughts to a life of conquests
Conquests filled with violently set minds
Mindset full of the drugs of white lines
Substance abuse is a becoming a daily chore
Searching for a high like the first hit of a snort
Fornication towards dirty whores is a belief
Followed like religion, since her faith does not relief
Money, money, money, more of it he is of need
Since money made him hungry , more of it just got him greed
He idolizes sinners, drug dealers, and blind killers
So his mind figures he's probably right with them
"So fuck you!" he's going to fight until he falls
Gunshots are the only rings if he calls
Trust who? Not even God can change his ways
He's lost like an act of a fool with no face
He acts like a fool in the face of authority
No faith in the law he defaces diplomacy
He demands drugs, women and more guns
But all he'll get is a night with no sun
And all he'll get is a life with no son
And what's all left? Just a heart with no drum
