Soul Calibur V: mid vs low clash?

Lol, I know, I'm just saying for ze luls. I know what you mean, and it does make sense, especially since there was another vid of similar circumstances (Xiba and Ezio) where the clash made absolutely no sense.
I know, what i'm saying is that because of the clash Xiba never had time to duck the mid, although he was technically ducking at the point of the clash. I think the 'hitbox' of the actual attack is at the level of a 'crouching' opponent, which explains why the moves clashed. Ezio's 2k is also a 'super-TC' in that it ducks mids.
You can't usually TC a mid... Unless you have Ezio 2K lul
I think it's more of a hitbox thing. Xiba's definitely crouching (super-teching I believe) at that point, so I think it was a clash of both attack's hitboxes. I'd say in the same way you can't duck a mid attack. Idk... I've seen similar scenario's with high attacks and moves that TC clashing.
I'm no expert, but my guess is that the TC frames for Xiba's... 1B? Idr, but I'm guessing they weren't in motion yet before Pat's 66B, so the 66B caught the move in the initial stages. No guarantees on that theory, though. Like I said, I'm no expert :0
