    Landing his JFs online isn't that much harder than landing his JFs offline, you just need to get things down to pure muscle memory and stop relying only on visual stuff. This used to be a huge problem for me until I learned how to stop worrying about inputs so much, and just let my muscle memory take over.

    Other factors that aren't present in training mode can also make JFs harder, such as worrying that you're going to lose, or getting stressed out about landing a combo. Learning how to ignore that stuff is really important to playing aPat, imo. Basically, just try to relax more when you play, and try not to worry about anything except what your opponent is doing and what you should be doing in response.

    it's mostly the variable lag i hate dealing with. i've been playing alpha for about a year now and i don't know why but i've just been using him a lot less than before. might be because i like hilde more lol.

    I just added somebody that kept doing every just frame 100% online. That's execution. I need to learn to block the lowMidHigh combo, too. Got blown up by it.

    No, I keep myself focused exclusively on Yoshi SA. I visit others when I need to learn stuff for my pocket mains to ensure my Yoshi is solid.

    While using other people isn't bad, cutting corners to get good WILL punish you. Research, trial and error, evaluation by others, and repeat.
