  • Things like 4B~PB, 623B, 1B, 22_88K, 11_77B, and PB just make things that much harder for your opponent. Dampierre can be played well, but you have be able to control his moves and pressure your opponent.
Ultimately your playstyle should focus on pressuring with FC A, AA, 33_99B BE, and K, tech chasing with 2A+B and 66A, and using 6B and B+K (instant) as mixups. You'll probably eventually need to throw in FC B and A+B to punish and interrupt moves, but be wary that those moves are linear.
    12. Don't rely on PB, Dampierre's best options are not from PB. PB is one of the perks from using Dampierre, but it certainly is not one of his best qualities.
    10. You can approach with 623B~PB or 44K~PB; the moves themselves cover pretty good distance and dodge most moves, plus PB B and PB A+G_B+G are pretty good approach moves as well

    11. Be careful using vertical moves; only B+K (instant), 6B, and 33_99B BE are generally safe because they duck high, have a farily large hitbox, and 33_99B BE has no lag.
    7. Use 2A+B and 66A to chase opponents after they've been knocked down; your opponent will have to guess whether to guard mid or low since neither move can be stepped.

    8. Use 11_77B and A+B to punish whiffs, and occasionally 623B~PB; A+B is dampierre's best whiff punisher, but 11_77B and 623B~PB are occasionally good too.

    9. Use FC B and 6A to interrupt moves and keep opponents out of range
    4. Pressure with AA, K, 6B, B+K (instant), 33_99B BE (GC or normal version) and, FC A

    5. Learn how to keep track of the timer in your head; timing your moves at the very end/beginning of a second will give you the best results for most of Dampierre's random moves.

    6. Learn Dampierre's combos; Dampierre has good RO and high damaging combos that don't require any gauge.
Here's some tips to help you, in no particular order:

    1. Learn how to RCC because you'll need to RCC a lot to do much of anything with Dampierre

    2. Use lots of good anti-step moves like FC A, 2A+B, 66A, K, and AA

    3. Focus on safe moves such as 6B, B+K (instant), FC A, 2A+B, K, 33_99B BE (GC or normal version) and AA
