    This is a new Yoshimitsu, though.

    Strangely, the whole game has a peppering of Indian mysticism in it. From songs being named "samsara", Yoshimitsu 2nd now seemingly being a Buddhist and Kilik meditating on the Dvapara Yuga. I wonder if it actually ties in or if it was a "neat" theme they added since there were a few elements in prior SCs.

    I think that it has to do with the period of time in which Buddhism replaced Shinto in most of japan.
